Legend says the leaders of the race would spread beautiful jewels around graves across the world and use their powers to let families see their dead loved ones for one night.

This was but a legend that brought a holiday, The day of the dead or spirit's day, it varies across the world.

The legend of the Ibirtem is an old folktale that's told during the day of the dead but modern day has forgotten this legend and soon forgotten the day of the dead, only few ever celebrate this holiday these days.
