"Derek didn't see you at the party, or at least not until it was too late. So, I had to send Blaze after Derek," Carson says.
Of course, Blaze was the one who told Derek that Ridge was upto something.
"Even then I didn't know that he's getting you drunk. I just wanted Derek to go after you. I found out after the explosion," Carson says and he looks guilty, Derek too.
But not Ridge.
*Flashback*
"Ashley, what happened to you? Are you drunk?" I looked at the person who spoke from the other side. It was Carson.
Before I could answer, Chloe came running to me, "Ashley, Are you okay? Blaze just told me that Ridge made you drink shots when he knows you can't handle it." She took me from Derek's arm and I clung to her for support.
"He said those weren't shots, they said those were only 7% alcohol," I said.
"Ridge did this to you?" Carson said and I nodded.
"And you knew about this?" Carson asked Derek, for the first time both of them acknowledging each other's presence.
"What? Are you stupid? Of course not. I just came here when Blaze told me he thinks Ridge is upto something."
"You should've paid close attention if you invited her here,"
"It's cute of you to think that I knew she was coming." They both looked at me but I couldn't even see straight, my body was not in my control, My legs felt like jelly.
"Ridge invited her," Chloe answered for me and they both looked at each other for a while, then Carson left.
*End of Flashback*
"I felt really really guilty, Ashley. Believe me, that's why I went to talk to Ridge," Carson says.
"Yeah Ashley, Please believe him. Your guardian angel really came to me because he was furious you got hurt," Ridge says in a baby voice, mocking Carson.
"Don't Ridge!" Carson warns him.
"I say Bullshit! He came to me for the next part of the plan," Ridge spats.
"What are you two talking about?" I ask almost terrified of the answer, because like everything until now, I think it will break me too.
"Did the 'they said the shots were only 7% alcohol' forget?" Ridge mocks me, I don't understand how his mood swings work. Why is he mocking me of all people?
