The main female character has an antisocial personality disorder, in other words, she's a sociopath. If you haven't heard of it / don't know exactly what it is, it'll be explained as the story goes on, but there are many articles about it if you want to know beforehand. You'll notice how the book is pretty fast-paced (which is why it won't be very long), and that's normal for a lot of sociopaths.  Researching about the disorder was a really long and confusing process and her character is my representation of what I learned. With that being said, not every single sociopath is like her, they're all different. 

The last thing I want say is please don't make fun of the illness or make insensitive comments because it is an actual illness that a lot of people suffer from <3
