Alone time for Jay and Nya were very difficult having their jobs getting in the way. What makes it worse is that the other ninja never leave them alone, specifically Kai. As they are becoming older, the Master of Fire been worried about certain 'things' and makes sure that his pure little sister doesn't get involved in them.

Because of those thoughts, his main priority is making sure that once they are done with the mission, he distracts Nya as much as possible. This started making the Yin Yang couple very frustrated at the fire bender, so they had secretly decided to go down to the coffee shop for some alone time.

Hand in hand, the couple walked down the streets in some casual wear. Nya was wearing an oversized t-shirt with her leather jacket over it, in some ripped jeans and camo boots. Jay was in a blue sweater and just some sweatpants which had drawings all over the legs thanks to Nya and Cole.

"Are you sure he isn't going to catch us?" Nya asked her Yin, glancing behind her shoulder ever now and then.

The freckled boy kissed her forehead in reassurance, "Cole said he would take care of it. Besides I would get a text from Zane if he escaped."

"Escaped? What did you plan-"

"NOTHING!" Jay squealed, showering kisses along her temple.

They made it to a café called 'Brew and Spill' and went inside. They picked out a table and Jay was going to order them some coffee and sweets. "Alright, so what would you like?" He asked.

Nya looked over at the menu and then turned her gaze back to the Blue Ninja, "You wanna guess?" She teased, a smirk appearing on her face.

The Master of Lightning played dumb, "Oh I don't know what was it? Black coffee?"

"Nope."

"Mocha?"

"Nope."

"Hot chocolate?"

She giggled, "Nope."

He grinned, "Oh I know, an Iced Chai Latte!"

"Ding ding ding!" She exclaimed reaching over the table to peck his lips.

He chuckled against her lips and pulled away to go up to the counter to order. While she waited for him, she pulled up Instagram and scrolled through the home page. She noticed that most her friends from Ignacia were starting families of their very own. Whether that was marriage, adopting pets, or having kids. Nya felt like she was behind in all those things because of her job.

Jay and her were only Yin and Yang, they haven't really talked about anything beyond that in their future. The closest thing they know is just that they would be together, but it never really told them when all of it would happen.

The Master of Lightning walked back over to the table with a smile on his face with their order in his hands. He noticed when he got there of how sad his Yang was. He set the goodies down, with Nya's attention still at her phone which was practically glued to the screen. He started to wave his hands in front of her, "Lightning to water, lightning to water." He repeated.

She shook her head, her gaze no longer on her device, but her very own Yin. She gave him a small smile and thanked him for the coffee. Noticing her expression, Jay asked, "Are you alright?"

She stared into her electric blue eyes before questioning, "Where do you see us in ten years?"

Jay raised a brow at her, "Excuse me?"

"Just answer the question, love."

He sighed, "I see us, side by side, never letting each other out of our sights." He honestly said.

Her cheeks started to flush in pink, "More specific, like our relationship status or a f-family?"

The freckled ninja thought about it and said, "I see us married, and with a little one of our own, maybe a dog or two."

She didn't respond and just took a sip from her iced coffee, "Why do you ask?"

The Gray Ninja continued to ignore the questions, her hand shaking in slight embarrassment and her face going very pink. Jay reached his hand over hers and rubbing soft circles along her knuckles.

Jay suddenly realized what she had meant when she asked the question, "You feel that we're going too slow?"

Nya looked up at him with slight fright in her eyes, "I-I mean, we've been dating for a really long time and we got to a more mature status about a year ago. And most of my friends are finally starting families and getting married, but most of them don't have a job like we do. I just feel like we're getting hold back because of the missions and my brother-"

"Hey. I understand what you're going through. I felt the same way. That's why I had arrange with the guys that you and I would have every Thursday to ourselves whether that is at the monastery or the park, anything."

Nya's ocean eyes glistened, "R-Really?"

He smiled at her, "Yeah. The guys are trying to distract Kai enough for us to at least have a couple hours to ourselves." The mood suddenly changed into a smirk, "Besides, who said I didn't think about the marriage stuff now?"

She looked at him confused as he laughed it off. They continued with their date, eating their sweets, and drinking their coffee.

Suddenly the café door burst open with an enraged Master of Fire hot on the couple's tails. "What do you think you two are doing!?!" He shouted, getting the whole coffee shop's attention.

Nya gave Jay a death glare, "I thought you would get a warning text?"

Jay went through his phone, not receiving any of the messages from Zane. He mentally slapped himself in the head for trusting idiots with this whole operation.

"Kai, calm down, it's just a simple date-"

"I don't like that word Nya!"

"You don't like many words, Kai. Now if you would excuse us, we would like to continue our little get together."

"No." He said grabbing a hold of her arm, "You're going back to the monastery to train."

She pulled her arm away from him, slapped him upside the head, and grabbed a hold of a lock of his hair, "Outside. NOW."

Jay gulped as Nya dragged her brother outside of the café as he gathered all their drinks. He went out there to see his Yang screaming at her brother, most unholy if you will. Jay noticed the other remaining ninjas in the corner, pale and terrified at the scene playing before them.

After a couple minutes of the profanity, Nya smiled, let go of Kai's hair, and patted his head. She walked over back to Jay with a huge grin on her face, "Ready to go to the park?" She asked him.

The Blue Ninja nodded quickly and hooked arms with her as the walked away from the group, "What exactly did you do in order for him to agree to this?" He asked her concerned.

She smirked, "Just a little bit of blackmail, but I'm pretty sure my language got through to him more than the threat."

He chuckled at the humor and they went off on the rest of their date, peaceful and happy.
