Crazy for my best friend's dad

Chapter 1:

~Renesmee's POV~

"Ness!" I heard Mel yelling
"Yeah?" I asked
"I called you for like 3 minutes" She said
"Oh, I'm sorry. Wassup?"
"I asked, what do you want to eat?"
"Nothing, I'm not hungry Mel, thanks anyways"
She smiled "Alright then" She grabbed something for her to eat.
I heard the front door opening, probably Max who is coming home from work.

"Mel I'm home baby" He yelled
"In the kitchen dad" Mel yelled back
I heard his footsteps coming in the kitchen. Act normal Renesmee. I murmured to myself.
"Hey Ness" I heard him greeting me "I didn't know you were here"
I turned around and faced him with a small smile "Yeah, just hanging out with Mel"
"How are you?" He asked
"Fine you?"
"I'm fine, just tired from work" He said giving Mel a kiss on her cheek.
I wish I could have a kiss too, without it being weird. I thought.
"I'm going to change" He said
Me and Mel nodded. He walked upstairs to get changed a few minutes later he came back downstairs, with shorts and a plain t-shirt.
"Let's watch a movie" Max suggested. He grabbed his Macbook, connected it to the flat screen and opened Netflix.
We all sat down on the couch and we were watching The Longest Ride.
My phone started ringing, I answered without looking at the called ID.
"Hello?"
"Hey sis, it's me Cam"
"Oh hey, what's up?"
"Can you please come home? I have a date and I don't know what to wear"

I laughed. This is us.. When I have a date, he would help me with what to do/what to talk about with the guy and Mel would help me with my clothes.
And for him, I'll help him with everything. Boys.
"Yeah sure, I'm on my way" I said hanging up.
"I need to go" I said
"Cameron?" Mel asked, looking at me.
I laughed and nodded "He is going on a date and he doesn't know what to wear and shit, you know.. The usual" I said
"You didn't come with your car right?" Max asked "I didn't see it outside"
"No" I said
"I'll take you home" He offered.
I nodded "Thanks Max"

I hugged Mel goodbye and me and Max walked to his black Lamborghini.
He got a lot of cars but his Lamborghini was his baby, like he always says.
We got in and he started the car and we headed to my house.

"Thanks for taking me home" I said when we arrived at my house.
"My pleasure" He said smiling
I smiled back and got out. Opened the front door and walked to Cam's room.
"Cam I'm here"
"Thank God!" He said stressed out. I just laughed at his state.
I walked into his walk-in closet and grabbed some clothes for him.
"Here" I said "And put his beanie on" I said giving him a grey beanie.
"Thanks sis! You're the best" He said kissing my cheek.
"Yeah yeah" I said walking to my room.
I opened my room and saw my little brother Vincent playing on my guitar.
"Vince, what are you doing?" I asked him
He looked up at me with his deep grey-blueish eyes. "I missed you" He said I smiled "I missed you too baby boy" I plopped onto my bed and laid next to him.
My phone beeped. I got a text from Mel.

Mel: Heyy Ness, my dad just asked me to go with him to a event with some companies.. But I don't want to go alone so he allowed me to ask you if you wanted to come? Text me back. Xx –Mel.

Me: Hey Mel, yeah ight, I'll come with you.. Pick me up?

Mel: Thanks babe.. Sure, Be ready at 7 Loveyou :*

Me: Love you too :*

"Ness" I heard Vince ask
"Yeah baby?"
He just hugged me.
"Aww" I hugged him back tightly. "I love you, Vince" I whispered in his ear.

Me and Vince laid on my bed and watched some cartoons.
It was 6:00.. I had 1 hour to get ready.
"Baby, I need to get ready to go out with Mel and her dad alright?" I said
Vince nodded "Yeah sissy, I'll go to my room" He said and ran off.
I called Kelly, Vince's babysitter to come babysit him for the night. Since Cam is going out too.
I changed into my outfit and walked downstairs.
"Goodnight Nessie" Kelly greeted me
"Night Kelly" I said with a smile
"You look gorgeous" She said
"Thank you" I replied. I heard a honk. "I gotta go now, see you later"
I put my phone into my purse and walked out.
Max was standing in front of the car, when he saw me he smiled.
"You look beautiful" He said
I blushed "Thanks, you look nice yourself"
He smiled "Thank you" He opened the door for me
I got in and Mel immediately turned over to me.
"You look hot girl!" She said "Who are you trying to impress huh?"
I laughed at her "Nobody Mel, and you look gorgeous too babe"
Max got into the car.
"Ready to party, Ness?" Mel asked
"For sure"
"Not too much drinking girls, please" Max warned
"Of course" I replied. "We wouldn't"
He looked into the rear mirror and we locked eyes for a minute. I got shy so I looked down to break the contact.

We arrived, we got out and Max opened the door for us. He opened his arms for us both to link with his. He looked at me and smiled. I smiled back.
We walked in and they offered us champagne.
"Remember what I said, not too much" He reminded us
We both nodded. "Yes sir!"
"Max!" We heard
We turned around and saw a man standing there.
"Andres!" Max greeted back, shaking his hand
"Who are these beautiful girls?" Andres asked
"This is my daughter Melanie and her best friend Renesmee"
We both shook Andres' hand "Nice to meet you girls" He said
"Nice to meet you too sir" Me and Mel said
"Excuse us for a minute" Andres said taking Max away from us.
They walked to a group of men with suits talking around the bar area.

Me and Mel linked our arms together and smiled at each other.
We have been best friends since diapers, we are basically sisters.
"Hey girls" We heard.
There was a guy our age, standing in front of us.
"Hey" We replied
"My name is Kendrick White" He introduced himself "My father owns the White & Co"
"My name is Renesmee Anderson" I said
"The owners of Anderson Jet's" He asked
I nodded "Right"
"And I'm Melanie Callaghan"
"Owner of Callaghan Enterprises" He asked smirking
We laughed "Right" Mel mimicked me.
"Well nice to meet you guys and I'm happy to have teens my age here.. Usually there are no teens attending these events" He said
"You attend these types of parties a lot?" I asked
"Yeah, my father says I'm going to be the White & Co heir when he gets older so I need to start getting into the business and attend these sort of things"
I nodded understandingly.
"Well, that's sucks" Mel said

~Max's POV~

I was talking to some business people, I turned around and saw Ness and Mel talking to White's son. Ness was laughing with him.. I don't know why, but I felt jealous watching her have so much fun with the guy.
Ness looked so beautiful and mature tonight, even though she's only 17 years old.
I haven't slept with a girl in long time, just thinking about her makes me don't want to do anything with other girls.
Ugh! I think about her a lot lately. And it needs to stop. And right now!
"Maxwell" I heard.. Only one person would call me that to annoy me, is my best friend Jeremiah.
And I was right, he was standing right behind me.
"Jer!" I said hugging him "Wassup buddy!"
"Just came back from the trip, you know" He said
I nodded and we continued talking.
"You like her don't you?" He suddenly asked
"Huh?"
"You like her don't you?" He repeated
"Who?" I asked, looking confused.
"Ness" He answered
I looked at her.. "No, I don't"
"You can't lie to me Max, I've been your best friends for more than 20 years now" He said. That's right, I can never lie to Jer.
"Okay okay, yeah I like her" I said
"That's awesome" He said excited "You have to tell her!"
"Are you out of your mind?!" I semi-yelled "One, she is my daughter's best friend, second I'm 13 years older than her, third she's still a minor.. And I've seen her grow up Jer, I'm like her second father Jer, she would never like me that way" I said sadly.
Me and Ness can never be. And yeah, it hurts to think like that.. But it's the truth.

"Dad"
I turned around and saw Mel and Ness.
"Hey girls" I greeted with a smile.
Ness smiled back.. Making my heart skip a beat. I wish I could just tell her how I felt.
"Girls" Jer greeted them
"JER!" They both yelled and hugged him.
I smiled.
"Missed me, my little pumpkins?" He teased
"Yeah yeah, we did" Mel said laughing.
"Good" Jer said "How is the boyfriend Ness?"
I tensed up. Did she have a boyfriend?
She laughed "Don't have one Jer"
I can't describe how happy I was to hear that.
"And you Mel?" He asked
"Don't have one either"
"Alright, keep it that way girl.. No boys until you're 30" He said and winked at me
I groaned. I knew it! He asked her that for me.

After a few more hours at the event, I decided it was time to leave.
"Girls, let's go home" I said
"Coming" Mel said
I saw Ness and White exchanging numbers. Damn boy.
He had her number and could text her anytime, even at night.. But I didn't have her number and I couldn't text her whenever I wanted, without it seeming weird.
Ness smiled at him and they hugged. She walked towards us.
"Yeah, let's go" She said smiling.
We got into the car and were on our way to home.
"Dad, can Ness stay the night?"
I looked into the rear mirror seeing her looking at me.
I nodded absently, "If she wants too" I answered, dryly.
"Yeeyy" Mel said happily.
We got home.
"I'm going to sleep, goodnight"
I walked to my room before they could answer, thinking about Ness liking White.
I don't think I'll be able to sleep tonight.
