'And it looks like it's ready to kill us.'
PRIAMOS QUICKLY dived to get Minerva out of the snake's way. The snake hissed loudly when it saw what happened. Thankfully, Minerva wasn't harmed. Nagulat lang siya nang may naramdaman siyang pagbukas sa likod at lumabas ang ahas.
"What is that?" gulat kong tanong.
"A level 40 Sand Serpent," sagot ni Voldmir. "It's fangs has venom so better avoid it. It usually digs into the sands and surprises the players with attacks. Beware din sa sandstorm na ginagawa niya."
Mabilis akong tumalon palayo nang yumuko ang ahas at umatake. It whipped it's tail towards us and we had to jump up to avoid getting struck by it. I raised my sword up while frantically searching for an obvious weak spot. My 'slayer' title helps me during these times.
"How do we defeat this thing?!" patanong kong sigaw.
"You're the slayer here!" Hex answered.
Feyre ran up and towards the snake. She stretched her chains into it's maximum length. Pagkatapos ay ipinalibot niya ito sa snake. It was enough to cover the stomach part but Feyre can't hold the snake for long. Vesta keeps on firing bullets when the snake would move. Ang mga bullets niya ay in-enchant ni Minerva to froze upon contact. Si Priamos naman ay nasa harap ni Voldmir na kasalukuyang nagsu-summon.
"Vesta! Ayusin mo naman ang tatamaan ng bala!" sigaw ni Feyre nang matamaan siya.
The snake shifted and moved. Feyre grunted as she tried to keep it from moving. Mabilis akong tumakbo pagilid and jumped up. I striked every snake parts my sword is against. Ngunit bigla akong napansin ng ahas. His eyes pierced unto me and he opened his mouth. In a blink, a white bubble covered in sands made it's way towards me. At ang sunod kong alam ay nasa buhangin na ako at umuubo.
"It's acid! It can poison you!" sigaw ni Voldmir.
"It doesn't affect me," sagot ko. It was my bad landing that made me cough. "But you may take damage from it. Anong mangyayari kapag namatay tayo dito?"
"We'll resurrect back in Gaea since it's the last city we've been to."
"You mean babalik tayo sa city na 'yon?! Tapos babalik naman ulit tayo dit- OH MY GOD ANO ANG ISANG MATA NA HALIMAW NA 'YAN?!" Feyre shouted making her lose focus and fall.
Napatingin din ako. First, a sand serpent who are ten levels ahead of us. Now, a Cyclops?!
"That's mine..." tahimik na sambit ni Voldmir. "I... summoned it here."
"Oh, you mean... that's an ally?" Hex asked.
Umismid si Voldmir. "Of course. Duh."
Napatingin kami sa cyclops. It stood taller than the snake and looked fearsome with a bulky body. Nakakatakot din ang nag-iisa at napakalaki nitong mata. Naglalaban ang dalawa, Minerva playing a rock song behind to increase the cyclop's strength.
Feyre slumped on the sand, sitting cross-legged. "Oh, nice! Let's just watch them fight."
"He can't deal enough damage to kill them. Kaya niya lang tayong depensahan mula sa Sand Serpent pero hindi ang patayin ito." tugon ni Voldmir.
"Huh?" Feyre sounds disappointed. "Can't he shoot laser from his eyes?"
"Of course, he can't."
"Then what can he do?" tanong ko.
