Reader's POV

I woke up to Sebastian opening the curtains letting the sunlight in the room. He said to me in a happy voice.

"Good morning, young mistress. It's time to wake up to greet the day."

I sit up and yawned. He told me about my breakfast for the morning and gave me my clothes for the day. He then leaves the room to give me privacy and after I've eaten and gotten dressed, I head down to Ciel's office. Sebastian was already there along with a woman dressed in all red, a man wearing Chinese clothing along with the girl wearing the same attire, and a butler with long brown hair in a ponytail with green eyes. Ciel introduced me to them.

"Miss (Y/N), this is my aunt, Madam Red and over there is Lau and his sister Ran-Mao. And he is Madam Red's butler, Grell Sutcliffe."

"Nice to meet all of you."

"Such a well-mannered girl. It was nice of you and Sebastian to take her in. Truly tragic just like you, my darling nephew."

"It seems that we have another investigation. A serial killer is driving London to its core, they call him, Jack the Ripper."

"What a terrifying name."

Lau complimented. Ciel read the newspaper out loud for everyone to hear.

"Mary Ann Nichols' body was found in Buck's Row Street. At 12:30 am, she was last seen to leave a pub in Brick Lane, Spitalfields. An hour later, her body was found by two men, Charles Allen Cross and Robert Paul, her throat was severely slashed, and was disemboweled. Curfew for everyone is at 8 pm."

"What a terrible death. Very gruesome."

I commented. Ciel explained the next course of action.

"We should head to the crime scene and see if we can gather more information."

We all nod and agree. I felt a gloved hand hold my hand. I realized that it was Sebastian which caused me to blush slightly. Lau then pointed to an extra story clipping in the newspaper.

"Interesting, a being that looks like a cat is wandering around the roofs of London only at night."

"A cat-looking being?"

Sebastian asked then Ciel gave him a death stare.

"Sebastian, if we ever manage to track down this being don't you dare think about getting to know her."

Sebastian seemed to be sad and hurt after Ciel said that.

Sebastian's POV

I was sad that I couldn't meet this cat-like being but, I like the lady (Y/N) way better anyway. I'm a loyal man. The young master spoke out his orders.

"Sebastian, summon a carriage."

"Yes, my lord."

The carriage pulled up to the front. We all got inside and headed to Buck's Row Street where the murder took place. We got to the scene and Ciel took a file from the Scotland Yard. We learned that the killer must be a doctor with the knowledge of surgeries or risky procedures. I was then ordered to make a list of suspects.

Reader's POV

Sebastian left to make a suspect list of who is a doctor and has connections to occults or secret societies. We made it back to the manor to see Sebastian greeting us at the door with some tea.

"Wait, why are you here?!"

Madam Red exclaimed. I was surprised myself.

"I finished my little errand and decided to head back here to greet you."
