A few months later, after the announcement of the second Captain America movie, you and Sebastian had flown back to LA. Sebastian had a few projects to wrap up in the couple of months you had before this one, where you hadn't, so it was back to being the PA again. You didn't mind helping around set, it was relaxing and fun. Once that had been crossed off the list, you two had began discussing your scripts, along with Chris and Scarlett, receiving emails and messages from Anthony and Joe Russo, who were to direct the movie.
Anthony and Joe were amazing directors, explaining scenes and what they had in mind, film locations mostly set in Washington, what Chris was gonna do, ideas to when you were going to make your entrance. It was so surreal. The scenes were as amazing as they were terrifying, but they assured you everything was going to be okay and that you could say if you were uncomfortable with a certain scene. To say that you were as nervous as fuck was an understatement. This was your first big time movie appearance, the expectation from the fans and the excitement you felt personally made you feel queasy. It was just... unreal.
You got in touch with Sebastian's personal trainer, Don Saladino. You just knew him as a really good friend, always invited to your house for dinner, always brought a box donuts for you every time he came to the house. Of course, Don couldn't train you. You needed someone on your level, so Don, being the angel he is sent straight down from heaven, had set you up with a friend of his, Vina Taylor.
She had a (s/c) complexion and curly brown hair cut into a gorgeous pixie cut. She was so nice and always knew when to take a break or when too much was just... too much. Keeping up was easy. And she was as supportive as she was pushy, but in the good kind of way.
Of course, you didn't want to take advantage of it, and you did, admittedly pushed yourself a couple times. You had gone on a very strict diet to keep shape in tandem with the 'Celastiel' workout, as Vina likes to put it, which had been a little hard, but hey, it's for the best.
But with all the prep for the movie, calendar mark offs, and getting mentally prepared, there were the occasional... wars with Sebastian.
A friendly competition, really. Nothing crazy or out of the line. It was an advantage to live with each other as it was a huge frickin' burden, the advantage being the chance to practice some scenes together, like you always did, and the burden of... well...
"You honestly think you can beat me?" Sebastian asks, just across from you, sweat dripping from his brow, face as determined as ever. He's wearing a black shirt that stretches sinfully around his chest, arms and stomach. He's even wearing the training shorts Scott got him for Christmas and his usual Nike trainers. Of course, this didn't distract you.
"Hey, just because I just started training doesn't mean I don't know what I'm doing." you rolled your eyes.
You knew that Don (and maybe even Scarlett) would encourage this, maybe Don would have forgotten it, but oh, god, you didn't. Day one of your new routine and it had already been stamped on your left side brain like a tattoo.
"Doll, I've done this for years." Sebastian smirks. "You sure you wanna do this with me? You can just, ya know, forfeit while you've still got the chance." he coos. You scoff, shaking your head at his 'effort' to put you down. As if this little Romanian bastard didn't know you.
"In case you've forgotten completely, my daddy's military." you holler, rolling your head back, followed by your arms which you pull back at a satisfying length. The workout wasn't so bad. Sure, it was hard at first to get used to, but you had gotten by rather quickly. You found it... interesting. You had gotten control of distractions and your own cursed laziness. Plus, it was healthy and good for your physical being. "Where do you think I got my competitive nature?"
