Lina was exhausted by the time she returned to the common room, all the information she had been told by Sirius replayed over and over in her head like a movie and while it may be obvious, something fishy was definitely going on surrounding the Tournament and with Crouch. Would it be too late to pull Harry and Cedric out?
"Where have you been?" Cedric asked bringing Lina out of her thought. Looking up she saw both Cedric and Danny were for once sitting on the sofa rather than at their little table, Lucy was missing.
"Where's Lucy?" Lina asked sitting down on the sofa, her back against the armrest and her feet on Cedric's lap.
"Fred," the boys said.
"You didn't answer my question," Cedric said.
"Oh right, yeah sorry. I was in Hogsmeade" Lina said purposely avoiding the inevitable.
"I know that" Cedric huffed.
"Where'd you go with Harry when you left the pub?" Danny asked.
Lina decided to play dumb "What pub?" Not that dumb!
"Either she's been hit really hard on the head or she's hiding something," Danny said.
"Funny" Lina said rolling her eye, she going to have to tell them eventually.
"She's definitely hiding something," Cedric said completing ignoring Lina's presence, even though his hand was resting on her ankle.
"Guys I'm right here," Lina said flinging her hands up.
"What are you hiding?" Danny asked.
Besides being in love with Cedric. Lina threw her head back and closed her eyes, there was no way around this but she wasn't going to tell them in two goes, that was to big a risk "when Lucy gets back I'll tell you."
Cedric and Danny looked at each other, Cedric shrugged in deserts but Danny got up from his chair and said "give me five minutes" with that he was gone.
"Well then," Lina said to herself, she looked at Cedric and smiled feeling awkward. They hadn't been left alone since their talk after the second task. "So...how was the rest of your day?"
"It was...alright," Cedric said, he looked like he was hiding something back and then had an internal battle with himself "I saw Cho."
Lina nodded "that's nice."
"I'm thinking of breaking up with her" he suddenly said.
"What!?" Lina said bolting up to sit straighter, her heart fluttered slightly and she reminded herself not to her too excited. "You serious?"
