I and Rosie rushed to the class before the door closes; because when it closes, it won't open again.

"Ahh, as usual, Vivian and Rosie are the last to step in, " Mrs. Mary, our Algebra teacher, said. "Have a seat girls."

We both sat in our regular seats- at the very end of the class.

As the minutes of the lesson passed, the ceaseless buzzing of the classroom. Having no vicious teacher who would glare at the class with red flames dancing in her eyes as she expects an answer to a question even the world's most intelligent mastermind couldn't provide an answer to, was an unbelievable chance worth taking to have at least a few moments of pleasure after a day filled with endless hours of Algebra and Chemical Reactions.

"Psss..." Rosie, who's sitting by my side, whispers. "Look at the window."

"What? Why?" Without the perception of what she meant, I outright tilt my head and my eyes glance at the window.

Behind the many layers of glass, was an elegant white flower bouquet, it was very beautiful but also very odd. there was no face to be detected behind the  window.

"That's strange, who would do that? " I asked Rosie.

"Maybe, some lover," Rosie replied with a smirk. "Someone who truly appreciate someone's existence."

I giggled. "Pretty sure that's for Alexia," I whispered.

"Why would you say that?" Rosie queried as her brows creased and face tense with bewilderment.

"You'll know everything later," I replied with no reluctance.

"Yeah..." Rosie added. "I don't think that Alexia is the one though, look again."

I'm confused by what she means, but I took no hesitation to look back at this window, only to see a piece of paper.
The paper says:
'To Vivian...'

My brain stutters for a moment and my eyes take in more light than I expected, every part of me goes on pause while my thoughts catch up.

"Alexia, huh?" Rosie whispered, and then she chuckled. "Aren't you going outside; to see who your secret admirer is?"

"Haha, funny, " I said. "I'll go and see who is it."

I raised my hands, trying to catch the  teacher's attention.

"Yes, Vivian?" Mrs. mary questioned.

I then excused her to go to the WC.

As I left the class, I took baby steps toward the main door, reckoning about the person behind the surprise. The only person that keeps bursting in my mind was Joe. My brain was occupied only with Joe, I can't stop thinking about him. from the first moment I laid my eyes on him, I was hooked.

I admired everything about him, from the way the softness in his voice, to the fact that he knows everything I'm thinking of.
Even though I still don't know how he knew where I live or the fact he keeps popping in my face every couple of hours. But I would be lying if I said I didn't enjoy it, that I didnt  enjoy looking at his angelic face.

This isn't me, I don't admire guys that easily, but for some reason, Joe stands out. Every pit and every ounce of him stands out.
There is something in the way he laughs that reminds me of my better self, the one I concealed alongside my mom's essence.

As I reach the main door, I place my palm on the door and took a deep breath out, before I nudged the door open.

As I scanned the school front yard, my eyes land on ripped-off tight jeans and muscle fit long sleeve t-shirt with crew neck in black. Then I traced his face and all I saw were black hair and the kind of blue eyes you forget while you're still looking at them.

It was Joe...

I can't comprehend my feelings,
I felt lost and confused, but happy and uncertain at the same time.

There was dead air hanging between us for what seemed like minutes until I mumbled something. "What are you doing here?"

Joe smiled. "I just came here as I friend, but I can go if I am making you uncomfortable."

"No," I said too quickly, surprising even myself with the intensity of my response. My response was too quick that didn't even think about what I've just said.

"I mean...what do you want ?" I asked curiously and crossed my arms over my stomach protectively.

He approached me slowly and gently.
The sight of him so close to me, looking more beautiful than he had the first time I had to see him- it was almost painful. The air felt thick in my lungs and my inside were in fire.

"Just want to give you this simple
Gift, hope you like it." he said quietly, at last, and looked up at me with his long lashed.
He hands me out the flower bouquet, that I had seen earlier, with a small pink envelope buried inside the flowers.

"What do you want from me?" I asked as my face frowns with outrage and excitement at the same time.

"Just to see you happy, " Joe said with a subtle smile on his face.
