12. You Pass.

Shizukana's P.O.V

I walked over to the three wooden stumps Sasuke in front of me.

We found Naruto tied to one of the stumps and Sensei and my Clone were standing near him.

My clone dispersed with a puff, announcing our arrival.

I walked over and sat down next to Naruto while Sasuke sat away from us.

"Now that you are all here, none of you have to go back to the Academy." Sensei said.

Naruto started cheering while Sasuke smirked in response.

What? Why? I narrowed my eyes.

Naruto exclaimed, "So that means the three of us..."

He got cut off by Sensei. "Will be dropped from the program. None of you are fit to be Ninja."

This brought silence to the area.
There it is.

Sasuke apparently had enough because he ran head on towards Sensei just like Naruto did before the test began.

Sensei moved swiftly and pinned Sasuke down to the ground with his leg on the Uchiha's neck.

"All of you are brats who think that becoming a ninja is a game." Sensei spat out. "Why do you think we put you in teams?" He asked.

Nobody answered.

Sensei shook his head in disbelief. "Unbelievable. All great ninjas came from Genin teams. The answer is teamwork."

Naruto looked at me with guilt while Sasuke looked at me with pure hate.

Sensei pulled out a kunai and held it near Sasuke's neck. He then looked at me. "Shizukana kill Naruto or else Sasuke gets it."

I looked at him in confusion. Is this an example? I hope it is.

"... Is what will happen in the outside world. There will be a day when you will have to choose between your teammates or the mission." Sensei said pocketing his kunai.

He then looked at Naruto. "Naruto, you charged at me head on with no plan what so ever. You declined Shizukana's offer and went on alone. You also broke the rules by trying to eat the food without getting a bell, which is why you are tied to a stump." Sensei said as Naruto looked down ashamed.

Sensei then looked at me. "Shizukana, you figured out the meaning of the test but failed to get the bells. Also, you watched as Naruto was about to eat lunch. I still can't let you pass, since you and Sasuke didn't even try to work together."

I sighed looking at the ground.  But that doesn't mean, I'm not strong. I did get close to getting the bells.

"You.." Sensei said digging his foot harder into Sasuke's neck. "You labeled the other two as hindrances and didn't even try to seek for help. When Shizukana came to you, asking to work together, you just ignored her. You thought everyone else is just below you. And you also came in the way of Shizukana when she tried to take the bells, which would have been a sucess if you didn't step in."

Sensei let Sasuke go and the Uchiha stood up and walked towards us.

"Do you see that stone over there?" Sensei asked pointing towards a memorial stone a few feet away from us. "It has names of some of the best and righteous ninjas in Konoha."

Naruto babbled on how he wanted his name on the stone. I looked at him and explained why their names are on there. "Naruto, they were the Ninjas that were killed on missions."

The blond haired boy shut his mouth after hearing that.

Kakashi Sensei looked at us and said, "I will give you one more chance. Try to get the bells after having lunch but Naruto can't have any. If I catch any of you trying to feed him, then you will be disqualified. Alright?"

He shunshined away from us.

I sighed while looking at my lunch. Sasuke opened the bento and started eating.

I opened it and suddenly heard Naruto's stomach growl.

"It's alright. I can go on without lunch." Naruto tried to convince us but his stomach growled again.

I shook my head and held my lunch box towards him.

Naruto looked at me. "Shizukana-chan, you will be disqualified."

"No, Sensei is not here so it's fine. Plus we need all the help we can get." I said making Sasuke also push his food towards Naruto.

"She's right. You will be weak without food." Sasuke said.

"You guys...." Naruto said while crying Crocodile tears. "But, my hands are tied."

I blinked twice before lifting my chopsticks and feeding a bit of rice.

Sasuke did the same before thunder clouds came from nowhere.

"You!" Kakashi Sensei's murderous voice came and we all turned to face him.

The wind was whipping everywhere and trees were swaying.

Sensei came closer and said. "Pass."

I tilted my head in confusion as Sensei was smiling.

"We pass?" I asked.

He nodded. "Yes, remember those who break the rules are scum, but those who abandon their teammates are worse than scum."

I sighed in relief. Naruto was cheering while Sasuke smirked.

"Team sevens official missions starts tomorrow. Come on, I'll buy you guys lunch." Sensei said.

I picked up my bag and turned towards Naruto. I pulled out a kunai and cut the rope that was holding him.

We all ended up at Ichiraku's Ramen. I didn't eat anything because of me being uncomfortable eating out.

When they were finished, I returned back home.

Taka-kun was in the hall of the building watering some plants. He looked at me. "Ah.. Shi-chan, how was the test?"

I smiled. "It was complicating. But I did pass."

He chuckled. "Of course. The world would end if you didn't. But I have to go, some of my friends are meeting up and they invited me. Bye..." He said handing me the watering can.

He did look nervous. What is he up to?
