I couldn't believe the rudeness of that man

I couldn't believe the rudeness of that man. Who does he think he is? He has no right to talk to me like that. The interaction I'd just had with the man had put me in a sour mood and, frankly, he had pissed me off.

Mr Andino was offering my an assistant position, I think, which would have been great, but then I just had to storm out. Imagine if I don't get it now because I was rude, his son was rude first! God, I sound like a child trying to justify why they had just been mean to one of their siblings.

My slight outburst was justified though, I couldn't just let him walk all over me. I didn't let people do that to me.

I was guessing that he was a teacher however, he could've just been there to see his father. I doubt it though. With it being only my first day, I was unsure of who any of the teachers were, apart from mine of course.

I'm unsure as to what Valen - although we were certainly not on a first-name basis, I'm sure you would be utterly confused as to which Mr Andino I'm referring to, so Valen it is of perhaps Mr Asshole is more fitting- taught nevertheless one thing I am sure of is that I would not want to be in his class.

After walking I had checked my phone and Yara had texted our group chat telling us to meet her the bar a few streets away from campus. One that I was quite familiar with, I knew the route like the back of my hand.

Lances of sunlight splashed on the path in front of me, as I sauntered down the street. The few trees that were scattered at the sides of the road swayed out of sync due to the moderate breezes that graced the air.

During the short walk, I had managed to calm myself down, after the earlier altercation with Mr Asshole.

By the time I had arrived at the bar, Ivy and Yara were already sat in the usual seats that we sat in whenever we decided to grace this place with presence.

The long glass panes by the side of the chairs gave a great view out onto the street, where clusters of people walked by going about their daily lives and the birds sang their songs from the tops of trees.

Settling down in the seat after I had greeted my friends, we decided that we were all going to only get one drink each and then head home.

The decision I came to was a to have a raspberry gin and tonic, as I felt in need of something sweet on a pleasant and rare day. My friends decided the same as they both agreed it was a wise choice and we all wanted a little something to take the edge off after our the first of many days at Uni.

"So how were your days girlies?" Yara inquired with a bright smile.

"My professor was seemed nice, I think I'll enjoy my classes, but his son came in at the end of class and, oh my god, he was rude to me-" I started explaining

"Oh my God you should meet my phycology professor, he's horrible but oh he's so hot," Ivy interrupted, "He was so angry for like no reason. I gave him my number at the end of class but I saw him just but it in the bin, I couldn't believe it!"

"Yikes Ivy, why'd you do that?" Yara laughed,  " My professor was okay, she seems nice enough, pretty normal."

Yara was sat in the seat opposite to me and Ivy in the booth and suddenly we watched her eyes begin to get wider.

Ivy began waving her hand in front of our friend's face to try and break her out of her gaze.

"Don't make it obvious, but there's a really hot man with some really hot friends sat behind us."

Trying to abide by Yara's statement, only Ivy turned around out of the two of us to avoid it being noticeable that we were talking about the apparently hot men.

I took a few sips of my drink through the blue and white striped paper straw. The tangy flavour hitting my tastebuds and making its way down my throat.

"Well, are they hot then?" I queried after Ivy had finally turned around looking excited, whether the excitement was due to the so-called 'hot guys' I had yet to find out or if it was just her due to her personality.

"That's him, oh my God, that's him" I raised an eyebrow at Ivy as I had no idea of who the 'him' was that she was attempting to whisper, but ended up kind of being a shout, about. Yara had the same confused look on her showing me I wasn't the
only one who didn't know what was going on.

Sensing our confusion, she continued. "That's my teacher, the hot one I was just telling you guys about, isn't he just gorgeous?"

Wanting to see this man who had captured both of my friends' attention I twisted my neck round to check him out.

Only when I looked, I was surprised at who I saw.

Valen.
