you walked me home.

we were halfway there, but it started to rain.

i didn't have a coat, so you gave me your blazer.

i blushed, as our clothing became soaked, our hair drenched in the water.

we heard a beautiful song play.

"i wish i could love myself." the singer sang.

you took my hand and we started to dance.

laughing and twirling around, we began to splash each other with the puddles from the ground.

we were soaking.

it was getting late so we continued home.

when we made it to my small, brick townhouse, you stopped me.

"wait." you said, spinning me back to you.

the world freezing, the raindrops midair, like in the matrix, you pulled me in.

our faces merely inches apart, you looked at me in the eyes.

you kissed me.

our lips so perfectly matched.

molded for the other's.

pulling away, you slightly breathed on my neck, as i lay my head on your shoulder.

"i love you." you whispered as fireworks went off in the sky.

i looked up at you and smiled.

"i love you, too."
