A/n: M/n is going to be really nice and caring, but when talking to his parents and sister he'll be. very stoic and cold. Also sorry if this sucks, i'm not the best writer...

Bold is thoughts
Italics is noises I think?
Regular is talking and everything else
ALL CAPS is yelling

Time skip to 4 years later, when M/n is about to be a first year in high school (he's 15 and 6'1) He played volleyball in middle school and seemed to have a talent, which led to him getting offers from multiple schools. In the end, he ended up choosing a school called Nekoma-

M/n Pov

After the whole incident with me hearing what my parents were saying about me, I haven't may any attempts in contacting anyone who lives in that house. When my grandparents go over there, they always ask if I want to tag along and it's always the same answer no matter how much they try to convince me: "No". I don't see a point in trying to talk to people who wish you didn't exist in the first place.

I'm sure no one misses me anyways. It's not like I care, since I only acknowledge my grandparents as guardians. I have no sister and never will. 'she' has apparently asked about me multiple times, but I know she doesn't actually care.

-Sunday, 5:06 am; 3rd POV-

The door to M/ns' room can be heard closing as he gets ready to go on his weekly jog around the neighborhood. No one is ever awake at this time so he finds it very peaceful. As he jogs down the stairs, he heads to the kitchen fridge to grab a water for the run. He normally runs around 3 miles which explains why he's so fit.

While he has his head in the fridge, he feels a hand on his shoulder. Startled, he turns around ready to fight only to see his grandpa (whatever you want to call him) laughing on the floor with tears in his eyes. "You should've seen your face" he says in between laughs. M/n just stands there with a embarrassed look on his face as his cheeks start to turn red.

He quickly regains his composure and helps his grandpa up from the floor, worried that he hurt him self. Still embarrassed, he leaves the house as soon as possible and starts his jog.

-2 hours later-

-M/n POV-

Walking back into the house I stopped by the mail box to see if any letters from high schools came today. The only one I could find was one from a school called Nekoma. I had gotten offers from pretty much everywhere including Aoba johsai, Karasuno, and Shiratorizawa. I've heard really great things about all schools, and that Karasuno has a "goddess like manager" which sounds a little dramatic if you ask me.

But, i've also heard Karasuno isn't as good as they used to be and I would rather improve and not fall behind so, they're a no. The other schools didn't give me any spark when I saw their names so I was almost out of options. Nekoma has always been a powerhouse school in my eyes, so getting a letter from them was almost like getting a huge grand prize.

I immediately knew what my choice was (Nekoma) and went inside to tell my grandparents. I had a few days until school started so, I started to practice my skills as a middle blocker and wing spiker. My height basically gives me an advantage in both positions, so I found them the easiest positions to practice in.

Beep.... beep.... b-

Why is my alarm set for so early it's not like there's anything going on today I grumbled to myself as I threw my alarm into my closet door hard enough to break it. I got back into a comfortable position and closed my eyes ready to wake up in three hours

OH SHIT IT'S THE FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL

Out of excitement, I literally leapt out of my bed and ran to the bathroom to get ready. The uniform was a little odd but I didn't care much, because I was just really excited. The school was about a thirty minute walk from our house so I would have to leave early to get to school by 7:45, since it starts at 8. The uniform was actually really easy to put on, but the real problem was my hair. I couldn't help but to run my hands through it for a little and see how much longer it had gotten since I last cut it. I'll cut it when I get back I thought as I did my hair to the best of my abilities.

Trying to run down the stairs without tripping over your feet is actually a lot harder than you think, since I just tripped and fell down a total of 10 stairs before finally hitting the floor with a loud thud.

Grumbling a few curse words on my way to the kitchen, I managed to get my bento I made last night and sit down to have a little breakfast.

I have enough time to eat breakfast before I go... right?

WRONG SO VERY WRONG

I was now 10 minutes late to start walking and at this rate, I would arrive a little later than I would like. I hurriedly put my shoes on and raced to the door only to be stopped by my grandma standing there with a camera in her hands. I was about to walk right past her, when she grabbed me by my collar to hold me in place. "Were you planning on leaving without me getting a picture?" she said with a smile that sent a shiver down my spine. "N-no" I said followed by a nervous laugh. " Oh! Okay then now smile!" I sweat dropped at her sudden change in behavior but smiled any way. She let me go and I quickly snatched my bag and bento and started walking to school.

The smile on my face was quickly replaced with a cold look as I couldn't help but think I would see 'her' somewhere along volleyball career. Don't worry I thought to myself as I put a smile back on my face. The chances of that happening are like zero anyways. And with that I quickly made my way to school excited but also a little nervous for the first day of high school.

( A/n i'll put a picture of what I think you look like in the next chapter, or just imagine whoever)
