"ah, a paper cut," Ruthanne mused out loud, as she set the book down. She sucked the blood that was steadily flowing out of the small wound in her pointer finger.
First day as a priestess of Lady Lora and she's already out injuring herself. She bumped her leg on a chair a while ago and now she went and got herself a papercut. Talk about clumsiness.
Ruthanne inspected her pointer finger. There was a small, white gash that was barely noticable.
Ruthanne usually takes care of her body well that she tries to avoid getting scars. If she ever did get hurt, it was tended to immediately so that it would not leave nasty marks on her skin.
She wonders if her soulmate would see this as well— wherever he is.
