For a long time now, things had been different around and about in the Simons household. Ever since you moved your stuff into the room that Tommy also slept in at night, and moved in a bed from right across from his, things had been different. Not only had you, the emotional trainwreck that you sometimes could be, caught the attention of the many of Tommy's fans on his streams, but had also sparked an interest amongst his friends - who were you, and why were you this close to Tommy, to the point where you were actually living with him and his family?

The answer was very close. You and Tommy were very close, and you always had been. It had always been like that, and it remained that way, even after Tommy rose in fame with the help of Technoblade and the Dream-Team. 

However, how come pretty much everybody knew about you, yet Tommy still refused to show you on stream, nevertheless talk all that much about you? If you were living with him, surely that meant you were close, yet whenever he saw your name in the chat getting spammed by some of the fans, whenever a donation with your name in it popped up on his stream, or whenever one of his friends would bring up the subject of a woman living with him, he would always shut down the topic immediately and carry on with the conversation that before had been there. 

Why? Because all the blonde-british boy had ever wanted to do, was keep you out of harm's ways, by any means possible. 

To do that, he needed to keep you pretty much anonymous and unknown to the outside world, however, he couldn't deny that him constantly ignoring the subject of you only sparked the viewer's, and his friend's, interests even more. 

Tommy wasn't sure how much longer he could protect you from the wrath of his fans and friends. 

He knew his fans, of course he did, he interacted with them everyday. So of course, not only would he ignore your name being asked by them, but he would also know the reaction that there would come with introducing you to them. And then suddenly, your protection would be out of his hands, and his control. 

In this world, the biggest things he longed after was more views and you constantly being safe. Only God knew, he knew that you needed the safety of four walls and a roof, as well as a family that cared about you. And not only did  you need it, Tommy knew you deserved it as well. 

Introducing you to the fans could go so wrong on so many levels, and suddenly, Tommy knew they would stand with your private social media's, spreading hate and rumors, and before anyone would even have a chance to take a good look around, you would be slipping back into hold habits, old habits that he had helped you escape from. 

As to his friends however, he didn't see anything wrong with introducing you, he just simply knew his friends as well as he knew his fans, and he knew that both Dream, George and Sapnap would take the opportunity to embarrass him in front of you. That was the last thing he wanted, except for you being brought in harm's ways.
