(Long term Hiatus) His Realty: An infinite X reader story

Part seven: Celebration

Warning this is a really short chapter. Why? because Its my old writing style. next chapter will be longer I swear. Also there will probably be spelling errors

*beep beep beep beep!*  your alarm goes off it's about 9:15 ish o'clock. You, still a little tired get up, shower, makeup (optional), put some cloths on and grab your wisp on before heading out the door.

You grab some quick breakfast before heading out to walk......until sonic runs up behind you and taps your shoulders. "Sonic! Don't scare me like that, you almost have me a heat attack!" He chuckles "Sorry __, didn't mean to scare ya, just wondering if you wanted to come help me with something!" Well it's not like you have anything better to do, right? "Sure! What did you need help with?" you ask. He smiles "the city's is having a celebration for us being free from eggmans rein and infinite disappearing, and I was wondering if you wanted to help set up stands" You nod in excitement and follow sonic to the carnival area.

"A little more to the left!" amy says. You shuffle to the left and try to keep your arms from giving out "stop! Perfect!" Amy and you then tie the banner rope into a bow and climb down the ladders. You take a deep breath of relief and wipe the sweat from your forehead. The banner looks great! a giant yellow and blue banner decorated with stars and swirls and big black and white letters saying carnival entrance. Sonic Runs up to you with a water bottle. "You've been out here for awhile, thought you might need this" he hands you the water bottle and you both fist bump. You then open the bottle drink, almost half the bottle, but you stop not wanting to drink to much. "Alright everyone, great job. ___, take a break you've done enough today" You turn to look at him "knux I can-" "Take a break, we can finish up the rest, just some ride mechanisms and the mirror hall." You take a breath but eventually go get your wispon and walk off heading for the base

At the base about 3 hours later

You sit down at your desk, struggling to stay awake, tired from the work you did at the carnival set up. Just go to sleep for a couple hours, what's the worst that could happen? Oh right, seeing him again. You shudder at the fact that he might be there again but you'll need to be awake for all of tomorrow. Reluctantly you get up from your desk walk over to your bed and get comfortable it's gonna be fine, he's going to be somewhere else, he's gone, dead... right?" You slowly close your eyes and within minutes your asleep, lost to your thoughts and senses. This can't be bad, right?
