The guards stood at the gates of Konoha, sensing a small figure out on the dark, dirt path. As the shadow got closer, they heard the chilling sound of metal scrapping the cold ground. "Show yourself!" One of them said, taking out a kunai, cold sweat running down both of the guards faces.
Suddenly, the figure stopped in its tracks, the guards and the mysterious figure stood in silence. Then the foreigner dropped their weapon and collapsed in front of the guards.
They cautiously walked towards the stranger, gasping as they saw the face of a child, covered in dirt and bruises. Bandages wrapped around the child's eyes, bloody and worn out.
"Notify Lord Third that we found a child at the gates." One of them turned to the other, worry written all over his face as the other one nodded.
