Hey there, so, just another update. I'm going through my old chapters and making some edits to fit with the upcoming content and to also make some grammatical/logical changes. The next release should be by next week sometime and it will be a bit shorter than normal. But chapter 8, which is still being written, is much longer.
Hopefully everyone's been enjoying the story so far. I have a lot of plans for the future.

EDIT: Chapter 7 is now out, chapter 8 is still in the drafting phase, so it may be a little bit before the next chapter.

EDIT 2: Chapter 8's taking some time because I'm not exactly happy with the flow of some sections in it. I also may need to split it at his point since it's getting to be over 6000 words in length, way too long for a single chapter. Writing such a lengthy piece makes it difficult to keep the flow and also keep the actions and motivations of characters realistic, at least for me. So yeah. I hope when it's out you guys will enjoy it.

EDIT 3: Chapter 8's doc ended up being over 10K words, so I've gone and split it. Chapter 8's out now, with chapter 9 sort of getting there. It will also be a behemoth 5-6k word chapter... Since chapter 9's in the editing phase, I will soon begin working on chapter 10. Chapter 10 has some interesting developments which I need to fully sort out so that they fit into the story how I want it to rather than the current clunky mess I have. Chapter 10 is still a ways off. Probably at the least a month. I generally do all my writing at night right before going to sleep, so I generally don't make a whole lot of progress in a single day. So...

EDIT 4: Both chapter 9 and 10 are in the editing phase. I'm just getting around almost doing a grammar check on chapter 9 and making a few images to be placed in. Probably about two weeks out. Chapter 10 is around 3 weeks out at the current pace. I haven't started chapter 11 yet, however, it'll be the introduction to a new arc and possibly be quite short, we'll have to see.

EDIT 5: Chapter 9's on the final stretch. In fact, I'm splitting it into two separate chapters since I actually made a perfect ending for chapter 9 much sooner than I thought. Thus, chapter 12 will be the introduction to an arc, roughly.
I've only got a final grammar check to do and some images to make for chapter 9.

EDIT 6: Chapter 9's been published. Since my last update, I had been editing it a little bit, day by day and made that skill thing as an extra bonus. I planned on doing two more screens, but it was all I could manage for the time being without delaying it more than needed.
Chapter 10 is also on its way. It's already written, but it may require some heavy editing as I changed some things in chapter 9.

EDIT 7: Chapter 10's out now! Yay. Also at 1K reads, certainly never thought I would get there so fast, lol. While I have sort of started writing chapter 11, up to chapter 13, most of that is a garbled mess at the moment. I'll probably also write a bit further ahead again like I did with this... lol.
Technically I already laid out the plot up to chapter 13 for about six months, I'm just so slow at fleshing stuff out... and I did end up writing how I got to chapter 13 a fair amount... well, anyways. Until next time. o7

EDIT 8: Yep, it's me again. Still at it, slowly but surely. I plan to pre-write up to the end of the current arc. So far the draft is looking really long(13K+ words at the moment) and I'm still getting there.
As I said before (probably), it might be a while before the next chapter due to my writing process. As soon as I have the initial draft, I go through it and ask what parts don't fit, what parts need to be rewritten, what parts should become whole chapters, etc. Particularly a sub-story I made of another character might get an entire chapter dedicated to it , but not sure of that itself should also be separated. Time will tell! Anyways, hope you've enjoyed it so far and look forward to the future!
