Chapter 37:💐New Life💐

One week passed. Eri woke up feeling relived. She was glad that not only Tanjiro was here but Yoh was getting a month off so he could spend time with her and their new son. Today Mikasa and Yoh was going to go and pick up their great-grandfather so he could come and meet his grandson. Eri turned in bed and faced a sleeping Yoh. She was dressed in a short white night dress. She smiled. She was glad he was here with her. She felt joy over take her actions and then she gently kissed Yohs cheek as gently as she could as not to wake him. She gives him a small hug before getting up. Her first isnticncts was to got to Tanjiros room. She then quietly walked through their bedroom and exited through the door.

She didnt bother to close the door.  She walked through the aparment and entered Tanjiros nursery. She entered the room. She turned the light on and walekd over to the crib which had a blanket hanging over the wood. She peeked inside and looked down at the 7 day old boy. "Good morning..." all he could do was just stare up at her. He was in a green onsie with abunch of black triangles on it. Eri locked eyes with the baby. It was so strange to see the baby look so mich like Yoh. She then reached down  and picked the baby up and thens suddenly tears began to fall. He began to cry. Eri then quietly trued to soothe him and wlaked over to the gliding rocking chair. It was time to breast feed him since he must have been hungry.

She sat in the chair and moved her dress from one of her breasts. The baby quieted down when latched onto her breast. Eri then sees Masa and Aki run into he room. "I see you guys are awake too..." The dog barked and the cat meowed. Then seconds later she sees Yoh walk into the room. "This is a good awakening..." Eri felt a bit guilty. "Sorry...I wasnt trying to be loud..." Yoh shrughed his shoulders and walked towards Eri and Tanjiro. He got next to the walking chair and bended down. He could never understand breast feeding. "When your done feeding him Im gonna need to change his diaper...I think I can smell him...Grandpa Giyu has significant opinion about dirty diapers..."

Around 7 Yoh had changed his diaper and she was in the lving room with Tanjiro as he laid in the play gym that was given at the baby shower.  Masa and Aki lay on the couches as they napped. Eri sticks her finger near one of Tanjiros hands. Tanjiros tiny baby hands wrapped around Eris finger and he gave a very weak and light squeeze. His moved slighly in a more comfortable position. Eri then pondered. 'If having a childnis this much fun no doubt I am for sure going to want another one...' The thiuvht of having another child made Eri smile. She sure Tanjiro could use a sibling. Thats a thought she would often have while she had been pregannt and she and Yoh would talk about.

If every goes well with Tanjiro then they for sure will have another child. Depsite the pain she qent through with Tanjiro she wouldnt mind doing it again for his sibling. Eri then thiught about genders. She wondered. "I have a son...but wht would it be like if I had a daughter..." Yoh has someone that can relate to him mostly which is a boy. But if they ever have a daughter what would she be like. She looked down at a calm Tanjiro and thought about. She didnt care what hedner it was but then there was Tanjiro. Would he be haooy about having a new sibling. 'Maybe Tanjiro would want to have either a brother or a sister...if he wanted one he would proably want a little brother...'

From what Yoh told her many boys would often want little brothers rather than little sisters. Eri wouldnt know how that feels since she was an only child. She should ask Yoh eventually how he felt about having Mikasa as his sister when she was born. Then the door begins to be fiddled with. Eri looked up and acknowledged it. She jnew that was Yoh and Giyu. She the quietly lifted up   Tanjiro in her arms. As though reading the babies mind she quicly placed his pacifier in his mouth to silence him before any sound came out. Eri holds Tanjiro in her arms and stands up. She wlaks out of the living room and towards the door. The door opened and revealed Yoh and Giyu.

Giyu was dressed in his own kimono. "You young people and your aparments..." He then sees Eri dressed in a white and red flower kimono and holding Tanjiro in her arms. "Grandpa Giyu this is Tanjiro..." The old man smiled as Eri offered him to hold his grandson. Who was fortunately awake to meet his grandfather. Giyu took the child into his arms with care and looked down at him. "I have finally met your twin Yoh..." Giyu says holding his great-great grandson . Yoh nodded. "I know...he looks exactly like me..." Yoh scratched his head. The elderly man smirked. "Im going to have to train him in Santasuken..." Yoh then adds. "Wait whay if he dosent want to learn it!?"

Giyu answered. "Hes going to want to learn because he has the fmaily instinct and intuition to learn it..." Yoh scratched the back of his head. Eri had allowed them to walk inside of the aparment and to sit on the couch. While on the way to the couch Yoh continued the argument. "That may he true but he dosent neccesarily need to learn it though right..." He was jsut afraid because Giyu was a bit rough when teaching it to him and Mikasa. Giyu answered. "If your son is going to need to protect himself he wont always be able to rely on his quirk...so knowing Santasuken as a substitute will help..." Yoh sighed giving up on changing his mind. Eri giggled and smiled. She coudlnt wait to get married.
