Friday night
“Um, are you sure we're not too old to be here?” Hannah commented noticing the teenagers she was passing.
“Are you calling us old?” Taylor pulled her arm pushing through the crowd towards the bar.
“No just... they all look so young!”
Taylor pulled her next to her.
“It's all that makeup they slap on their faces. What are you having?” Hannah looked at her blankly. “Oh my god, you are too old to be in here! When was the last time you went out?”
“Um, I had wine at my sister-in-law's wedding a few months back. Apart from that...”
Taylor turned and looked at her shaking her head.
She waved over the barman.
“Can I have a Bacardi n coke and a Malibu n coke?"
Hannah looked out at the crowd of sweaty people in the nightclub.
“So this is a club then?”
She saw Taylor look back at her.
“I have been a mum for the last 6 years ok! It's been a while.”
“Here try this.” Taylor slid over the Bacardi. Hannah took a sip.
“Wooo,” Her face lit up. Taylor laughed.
“Now this one,” She slid over the Malibu.
Her eyes lit up.
“Mmmm, that’s good!”
Taylor smiled settling with the Bacardi.
“Alright just take it easy on that. I don’t want to be carrying you out of here. Come on.” She took her hand and led her out onto the floor. After a couple of songs, Taylor noticed how awkward her dancing really was.
“Tay!” Hannah saw her laughing to herself. She slapped her arm.
“What?!” Taylor shook her head downing her drink. “Drink up!” She pointed.
She took the glass from her hand and put them both on a table.
“You do suck at this dancing thing!” Hannah smacked her arm again leaning into her.
“I'm a trained dancer. It's hard for me ok.”
“No crap!” Taylor laughed taking her hand in her own. The music changed.
“Oh, I know this!” Hannah clapped. “It's from that Magic Mike movie."
“No don’t...” Taylor stood back, placing her hand over her mouth. Hannah smiled up at her dancing away. She shook her head.
“Ok, you need to stop that!” She laughed reaching dow pulling her closer. “That’s not how it goes.”
Hannah looked up at her.
“And you can do better can you?”
“Ha.” Taylor moved back making sure she had enough room. “Watch,” She spread her legs, bent her knees, and started grinding her hips with expertise.
Hannah's eyes widened stepping into her.
“You have to teach me!”
“Hell no...!” Taylor laughed still feeling the rhythm.
“Come on please.” Hannah pulled her closer. “Teach me this.”
“I can’t dance, not like you and that fancy stuff.” Hannah bit her lip in total ore of this interesting woman.
“I taught you the waltz, you know you want to.”
Taylor sighed rubbing her face.
Hannah stepped into her a little more touching her hand.
Taylor searched her glowing eyes, shaking her head a little.
A sweet smile crossed Hannah’s lips.
“Yes?”
“Alright!” She threw Hannah’s arm over her shoulder pulling her hips against her.
“For god’s sake don’t tell your husband I did this.”
“Of course not, Coach!” She searched her green eyes feeling her body pressing into hers.
“I wouldn't dare!”~~~
The cab pulled up outside Hannah’s house.
“Here mate. Keep the change.”
Taylor jumped out the other side and came around getting the door for her drunken friend. “Come on.” She laughed placing her hand out for her. Hannah started laughing as soon as her feet hit the pavement. Taylor held her up.
“Are we at my house?”
Taylor swung Hannah’s arm around her neck.
“Yes, we’re home.”
“Hmmm,” Hannah looked at her stopping them for a moment. She stepped into her hugging her neck. “You gonna come in?”
Taylor grinned walking her backwards towards the door. She wet her lip.
“You want me to come in?”
“Mmmhmm,” Hannah flicked her eyebrows still letting her lead them up to the door. She felt Taylors' hand in her pocket moving into her subtlety.
“You wanna stay too?”
Taylor looked at her dancing eyes. She had awoken a side of Hannah she wished she hadn't. She slipped the key in the door behind her.
“You know I can't stay.” She stepped up onto the step pushing the door open.
Hannah searched her face so close. Her chin tilted slightly as she pressed into the body she’d been absorbed in all night.
Taylor looked at her feeling her closing in. She whispered as she ran her hand down her arm.
“Come on so I can make sure Tammy gets home.”
“Tay,” Hannah wined a little. “I don’t wanna go home yet.”
Taylor let the smile come to her cheeks.
“Come on.” She pushed Hannah in the doorway. “Hi, Tammy,”
They met her in the hallway.
“Hi, Coach. Is she alright?” Tammy pointed to her dance teacher leaning against the cabinet.
“Yeah, she's just had a drink or two.”
“Did he behave?” Hannah asked standing up trying to look sober.
“Yes, he was fine. I can stay if you want me to.” Hannah glanced over at Taylor wishing she’d said that.
“No no I'm fine. Thank you.”
“Tammy, are you alright to get home?”
“Yes.”
“Are you sure?” Taylor asked stopping her in the doorway.
“Yes, I just stay around the corner.”
Taylor glanced back at Hannah knowing where they’d end up if she didn’t leave now.
“I'll drop you off on my way home.”
Hannah stood up hearing her.
“Here.” Taylor took the keys out of her pocket handing them over to the girl. “I'll just say goodbye.” She watched her go then turned back to Hannah stepping closer.
“You're going?”
Taylor searched her eyes on her.
“I have to.”
Hannah leaned on the door for support.
“Go and get some sleep,” Taylor spoke softly. “I'll text you in the morning ok. See how you are.” She noticed Hannah’s eye flick over her lips.
Smiling she moved away from the door frame and headed out to her truck.
Hannah closed the door behind her. Looking up the stairs towards her bedroom, a sting of guilt crossed her mind.
She was married, what the hell was she thinking!~~~
