"Thank you" Axle said and looked around a bit more "Would you mind if I take a look around?"

Viktor took a moment before shaking his head

"I suppose not..." Viktor said

"Would it make you feel better to come with?" Axle asked with a small chuckle "You could give me a house tour, that way you'll know I'm not up to anything" He added and Viktor stood up, automatically up for the idea. He lacked a decent amount of trust in Axle, but it was to be expected.

Viktor moved to stand in front of Axle, looking up at him

"I don't want you touching things all the time.. some things are very fragile" Viktor said and Axle chuckled softly

"Fair enough.. well, lead the way" Axle said, looking down at Viktor and just following him along. The place was pretty decently sized and Viktor had plenty of rooms.

The first area was the library, that was filled with all kinds of books and it was in one of the largest rooms in the house, there was also a bookshelf in the living room that was filled, but this was something else

"Have you read all of these?" Axle asked and Viktor nodded

"All but the top stack on the newest bookshelf" Viktor spoke, pointing to the bookshelf that was farthest from them and positioned a little oddly

"Holy shit... I couldn't imagine having an actual library in my house" Axle said, looking around "And you can read by a fire" he said, motioning to the fireplace with a coffee table and chair in front of it

"Yes, it's actually very nice to do" Viktor said, letting Axle look around a bit before moving on

The next room was rather large as well, but the floor was tiled and there was a giant piano in the center of the room, along with an area for his sheets of music

"I'm guessing you play?" Axle asked and Viktor shook his head

"No, it's broken" Viktor said, moving on which confused Axle

"If you say so" Axle said with a shrug

Next was the dining room, and the kitchen, upstairs just being his own room and some other guest rooms, a bathroom as well as a room with double doors, that led to an office, where nothing really happened.

Viktor didn't really need a job, but the office had a nice view of the town and allowed him a space to write and all. There wasn't any technology around, since Viktor hadn't been caught up with the times and probably would only grow confused with it.

Once they finished looking around the house, they decided to head into the library, talk some more there

"Your house is gorgeous by the way. And super clean" Axle stated and Viktor kind of shrugged

"I don't have much else to do besides clean and all.. but thank you" He said, sitting on the table for right now and letting Axle take the actual seat

"How long have you lived here?" Axle asked

"Um.. I don't know.. too long to really remember" Viktor said, trying to think back "At least a century"

"No way! How is it still in such tip top shape and so spaced away from others?" Axle asked

"I take care of the house, this is my house and I own this land, that's why there's barely any houses here" Viktor said "For my own protection.. I paid all of this off" He added, playing with his sleeves again, still getting this weird feeling

Axle noticed this and reached over, stopping Viktor's hand

"Hey, relax, you're ok" Axle said, trying to comfort him amd Viktor pulled his hands away

"I'm perfectly calm" He said and tried to keep his composure and not dart to the window. He didn't know how this human was so observant, he had kept the same composure except for slightly playing with his sleeve, which he didn't think was even all that noticeable.

"No, you're not, I can see it in your eyes, you're freaking out about something" Axle said and Viktor gave a little huff

"I'm fine, Mr. Axle"

"Whatever.. also, don't need to call me Mister anything, just Axle"

"But-"

"No, we don't do formalities amongst casual friends" Axle interrupted Viktor, who turned red in embarrassment and turned his head away

"Hmph.. if you say so" He said and Axle lightly chuckled before yawning lightly

"I think I'm gonna head home, sadly gotta cut this visit short.. but I will return" Axle said

"Ah, of course you will" Viktor said with a little sigh

"Dare I say you sound disappointed" Axle said, raising an eyebrow. He figured Viktor would take some time to get used to everything, he didn't seem to do too well with this just yet. He figured the vampire would do better after some time

"Hmm... maybe" Viktor said, getting up and shooing Axle "Now go, get some rest" He said and Axle laughed softly

"Maybe I should bother you every night until I work again" Axle said

"I believe that's a threat" Viktor said, practically pushing the male out the door "Now leave"

"I'm out. I'm out, good night, Viktor" Axle said and Viktor hummed, closing the door

Axle chuckled softly, despite the slightly colder treatment, he figured this was off to a good start with the fact that Viktor wasn't really upset and he came out alive.
