soobin was sat in the assembly hall with everyone else from his school. the teachers stood on the stage, their principal at the front.

soobin was sat in between beomgyu and kai as they waited for their principle to start talking.

"good morning everyone." he greeted with a smile.

"our school has decided to hold a music show! auditions start today and tomorrow after school in the music auditorium. producers from different companies will be joining to evaluate you. and for the final show you will be singing a song from their agency. this will be a great opportunity to be scouted to becoming possibly one of the best kpop idols. we hope to see you there and that you do well!"

he then dismissed them, everyone standing to leave the hall.

"you should totally audition!" beomgyu exclaimed for soobin, a wide grin on his face. "audition? i don't think so. i'm not even that good of a singer." soobin tried to protest, rubbing the back of his neck. "are you dumb? i've heard you sing all the time. you're amazing!" kai complimented, making the elder blush deep red.

"still think about auditioning! maybe even do it today!" kai added. jogging something in soobins mind. "ah! i can't today! i have an interview." he announced to his best friends.

"an interview? you finally snagging a job?" beomgyu questioned as they walked to their classes.

"yeah. it's a restaurant not far from the mall. but the interview is at 4:15."

"but school ends at 4pm. how are you gonna make it?" kai asked, concerned. the blue haired male shrugged his shoulders. "mom asked me the same thing so she made me take the car today. so that means i can't drop you two off." he said with a chuckle.

with a goodbye, the three boys split up to go to their own classes.

soobin walked into his first class, chemistry. he still had been avoiding mr choi after that day, too embarrassed and frankly still pissed at him. he walked to his seat, sitting down.

mr choi had watched the boy walk in and sat down, following shortly behind him.

"soobin. your mother told me about your interview today." he started, the student barely glancing at him. "i hope it goes well for you." he spoke before patting soobins shoulder and heading back to the front of the class.

the day went a lot faster than soobin had expected and it already time for him to drive to his interview. he waved goodbye to his friends, them shouting encouraging words at him as he drove off.

he blasted bts' songs as he tried to calm his nervousness. the closer he got to the restaurant, the more clammy his palms started to feel. this was his first ever job interview so he wasn't even sure how to act around the interviewer. plus he doubts his school uniform would be appropriate to wear.

he soon pulled up to the restaurant with a few minutes to spare. he took a quick breather, trying to compose himself before he stepped out the car, locking it. he took a look at the restaurant. the theme of the place to be summer-y as he looked at the blue and yellow words on the front of the wall that said 'aurora'. plants sat outside the windows in flower pots. for being a restaurant it sure seemed more like a cafe to the sky blue haired male.

he finally pushed past the door, and into the place. even the inside was very summer like. because of the time of day, the restaurant wasn't that full of people but still wasn't that empty either.

he took a look at the waiters who served food and drinks. they all seemed so handsome and not a single female waitress was in sight which he found weird.
