"I'VE BEEN BACK TWO WEEKS, AND I I've missed so much, ladies." Baby teased, removing her coverup as she moved closer to Manny and Emma's pool chairs
"Don't you worry. We saved you a chair and we'll easily catch you up." Manny smiled, jumping out of her seat to greet the girl with a hug as she took the chair in between them
"No new hair color this year, I see." The Nelson girl piped up, making the blonde smile
"Well, if you must know dear Emma, they don't allow hair dye in rehab. Despite my pleadings." Baby admitted, only a bit sad she hadn't been able to keep up her tradition
The Roberts girl leaned back in her chair, observing all the teens who'd gathered at the public pool. Having only been in town for the last two weeks of summer, there was much to catch up on and many people to see.
Running back and forth from hanging out with Manny and Emma, going to the movies with Jimmy, and attempting to reconcile with JT
The first day Baby got back, JT was the first to greet her. He quickly confessed that he had had a short relationship with Liberty over the last month of summer, but they both agreed to end it when they found out she was back. The two swore it meant nothing, only adding up to the fact that they were both just lonely.
"How are things with JT?" Emma asked, adjusting her bikini top
"Awkward. I assured him that his fling with Liberty doesn't bother me, but he won't give up. It's probably going to take awhile to get anywhere close to normal." The Roberts girl sighed, desperate to just get back to their normal relationship
"It's JT. He's always been awkward. Give him some time, I just don't think he was aware you were coming back so soon." Manny laughed
"Well, good behavior in rehab apparently means I get to come home a few days early. No complaints here." Baby smiled, "So, what are we looking at?"
"Well, I'm stressed about the agent not calling me." Manny sighed, setting her book down, still stressed about her acting venture
"Do you think that Peter guy is ever gonna notice me?" Emma continued, pointing to a blonde boy at the other end of the pool
"Well, we've been coming here for two weeks. Maybe go talk to him." The Roberts girl suggested, nudging the Nelson girl's foot with her own, "As for you, Manny. Give it time. She'd be crazy not to call."
"Okay. What if I stood up? Do I have, like, lumpy chair dents in my thighs?" Emma asked, standing up from her chair, spinning for her friends to look
"You'd need fat on them - or any." Manny joked
It was clear the Nelson girl had the figure most would die for. Tall, long model legs, and no fat in sight. Her two friends would never admit it, but they'd always been jealous of the girl's body.
