I yawned. Finally, I finished Shokugeki no Soma. I turned the tv off and looked at the window then my phone.

"It's already 7am, I'm going to sleep." I mumbled then put my eye mask on and closed my eyes.

"It's time for Shokugeki (Reader)-chan." someone said.

I opened my eyes and saw it was pitch black around me. Suddenly a frame-like system appeared in front of me. It had the Food Wars logo in it and four ball of flames on each corner.

Shokugeki No Soma Yamaguchi (Reader)'s background:

Yamaguchi (Reader)'s father was a former Totsuki alumni, an Elite Ten and former Polar Star Dormitory inhabitant.

Saito Kazu's generation is with Saiba Joichiro, Dojima Gin, Nakamura Azami and Shiomi Jun. After graduating he moved abroad and married to a foreigner chef who was half American and half Japanese. Lily Yamaguchi.

Lily Yamaguchi's family was well known in Judo, Martial Arts, Sumo and even in Yakuza world. 

They thought that America was a dangerous place for their family so after Yamaguchi (Reader) was born the couple went back to live permanently in Japan. The two chefs taught their daughter about cooking and fighting.

At the age of 5, Yamaguchi (Reader) already made her name in beating countless chefs. She met Akanegakubo Momo who was 3 years older than her. After Akanegakubo Momo accepted (Reader)'s cooking worthy of her they became friends. (Reader) pledged to Momo that they will take over Totsuki Academy when they grow up.

At the age of 10, Yamaguchi (Reader) met her cousin. Saito Somei who taught her everything about sushi. They had a battle and (Reader) won successfully. Saito Somei thought highly of her cousin's cooking level so he respected her and taught her about how to use the katana.

At a young age, Yamaguchi (Reader) was very popular among her classmates and teachers. She hated that no one wanted to challenge her to a cooking battle. So at the age of 15, her father decided to enroll her at Totsuki.
