Since I did a Rúmil oneshot recently, I wrote one for Orophin so now I have written oneshots for all three brothers.

It has been a year since you first moved to the woods of Lothlórien. You used to live in Imladris until you were curious about the world out there. Going to Lothlórien was a long journey,  and when you arrived you were confronted by the marchwardens  of the woods.

Now, three of the wardens, Haldir, Rúmil, and Orophin, were your closest friends. They wanted to celebrate your first year living among the Galadhrim with a surprise.  You had no clue what they were planning, but you knew that it was going to be good. The brothers knew you very well, so you trusted them to give you a nice surprise.

Knock, knock. Somebody was at your door. You opened it, and it was actually two elves, Haldir and Rúmil. Orophin was nowhere to be seen, and you wondered why he wasn't at your door. Maybe he was busy setting up your surprise.

"Good evening!" said Haldir. "It has been a year since you've lived in our beautiful forest. Now, your surprise is waiting, but first we must blindfold you." Rúmil got out a cloth and tied it into a blindfold for you. You put it on and felt the hands of your friends on you as they lead you somewhere.

A door opened after a few minutes and you were sat in a chair. Where were you? The smell of food filled the air. Did they take you to dinner?

"You two may take off your blindfolds now." Haldir told you. So you weren't the only one with your eyes covered. Being curious about who was the other, you slowly removed the cloth from your face. Orophin sat in front of you on a dark wooden chair. The room was mostly dark, except for a few candles on top of the tables. Their surprise was a dinner for two?

Orophin's eyes lit up when he saw your face. You were so glad to see him.

"We decided to set the two of you up on a date." Rúmil explained. "The both of you get on so well; I wouldn't be surprised if I hear some 'I love you's' coming from you."

Haldir and Rúmil left the room so you and Orophin were alone. At first it was awkward, but then you sparked some conversation with him. "I cannot believe that it's been a year!" you exclaimed.

"Me neither." Orophin sighed. "It feels like it has only been seconds since the day I first laid my eyes on you." You remembered seeing him stare at you with his sharp, blue eyes that day. Instead of feeling threatened by them, you were lost in them.

The ellon never failed to charm you in every way. His brothers possibly noticed the way you looked at and acted with him, so of course they set you up. As you expected, the elves gave you a nice surprise.

Your heart thumped in your chest. Orophin's flirty look on his face made you want to melt. He noticed how nervous you looked, and saw how you were breathing quickly. Another thing he saw was a light blush on your cheeks.

"Are you okay?" Orophin asked. "You look scared."

You nodded and swallowed hard. "I'm fine. Don't worry about me." you answered, hoping that he wasn't getting the message that he was the one making you like this. "So, uh, how do you feel about... this?"

"Seriously, what is making you like that?" Orophin leaned in to get a good look at your face, which made your heart race. "Oh, my, you look like a mess."

"Sorry." you squeaked. "I've never been on a date before and I don't know what to do." Taking slow and deep breaths, you tried to keep cool. Being a wreck like that certainly wasn't going to help you. But Orophin just looking at you like that wasn't helping.

Rúmil came into the room and brought some food. He saw your face and held back a laugh. You were clearly nervous because of Orophin, and Rúmil was wondering if his brother knew that yet.

It seemed that he didn't, as he mentioned nothing about the look on your face again. The ellon just ate his food and occasionally spoke to you.

"Orophin, I am so nervous." you admitted.

"So am I." replied the elf. He most certainly didn't look nervous. Orophin looked confident and ready to give you a simple smirk and watch your reaction. "But it's okay. We can do this."

Haldir came out to pour some water into your cups. "So, how is it going between you two?" he asked.

"Not very good. We haven't really clicked yet." you answered. Orophin frowned.

"Oh." he whispered.

The elder elf, Haldir, walked up to Orophin and kneeled to tell him something. "Look at that face. Just at the reaction to when you just lock eyes. You should confess. It's worth it, believe me." Haldir told his younger brother. Orophin seemed so naive. He had no idea how you felt about him.

Orophin gazed into your eyes and smiled. Haldir walked out to let the two of you have a private moment. Nothing was said. It was just some awkward silence.

You had to break the silence. "So, did you know that we were going to be set up for this or was this a surprise for you as well?"

"My brothers had told me that I was going to go on a date." Orophin stated. "But I was never told with who. And then when I saw you after uncovering my eyes, I was pleasantly surprised by a quite attractive face." Your legs turned to jelly. Was this simple conversation going to lead your relationship with Orophin a different direction?

"I wasn't told about any date. All I knew is that something was going to happen today." you recalled. "Then I saw you and I got really nervous."

"Why?"

"It isn't obvious to you?" You laughed lowly. "I mean, look at me, I'm being a disaster because you only spoke to me." Orophin widened his eyes. He then realized how you feel, and how he wasn't calming you down at all.

The ellon took your hand and kissed it. "I think I know how you feel. And I feel it, too." he said.

"Do you now?" you asked.

"Love is what we feel." Orophin answered. "I've been in love with you since the day we met. That's why I constantly tried to charm you, in hopes that you would someday feel as I do."

"And I did," you confessed. "just a few days after we met, I was enchanted by you and I fell for you."

The ellon leaned in closer to you. No movement happened after that. Haldir and Rúmil just stared at you and waited for something romantic to happen.

"Would you like to go into my home with me?" asked Orophin.

You smiled brightly. At last, you had your feelings out of your chest, and you were no longer going to hold them back. "Of course I will." you said. The two of you stood up and walked out to Orophin's home. Your fingers were gently brushing the ellon's silky hair, and you were relaxed, knowing that Orophin loves you.
