Despite everything he's done, every horrible thing, Savitar still manages to look peaceful when he sleeps. He doesn't look all vengeful. He looks like a normal person. It was midnight and everyone was sound asleep. They were all exhausted after everything they've been through. So was I. However, I couldn't sleep. My mind kept replaying the scenario over and over. Plan A of Savitar killing Iris failed, therefore he decided to use plan b. Savitar kidnapped me and Cisco to use us as hostages. He threatened to kill Cisco if he wouldn't alter the speed force bazooka into a quantum splicer. Cisco was ready to die so Savitar threatened to kill me instead. I was Cisco's best friend. Therefore, Savitar knew if he threatened to take my life, Cisco would agree to help him alter the gun into a quantum splicer.

It was only because of Barry when he offered to help Savitar before the paradox reached him and erased him from his existence, that Savitar agreed to let them help him. But I knew of course that it wasn't because he had a change of heart. Savitar was only doing what he needed to do to save himself. It was only a matter of time before he turned on them. They had already helped him but he was still here. She thought for sure he would be gone after they helped him but no, he was still here. Which makes her wonder what other reasons he has that's still keeping him here.

A sound beside her made her jump. It was Savitar standing beside her. How did he get here? I glanced at the monitor quickly to see that the bed was empty.

"Were you watching me sleep the entire time?" He grinned.

It was still eerie how much he and Barry look alike. I mean he is a time remnant of Barry which means he was a future Barry. His posture, his voice, his height, every other physical appearance was the same. Besides the fact that he had a different hairstyle and half of his face was covered with scars. The resemblance stops there though. Besides his physical appearance, he was nothing like Barry. Barry is a good person and he's not. I didn't know how long until I will get used to seeing him without feeling weird and awkward. Probably never because he kidnapped me and Cisco, killed HR, and tried to kill Iris. Trust me, the list goes on and on.

I avoided eye contact. "I have better things to do than watch you sleep."

I haven't spoken a word to him ever since he was brought here. After Barry rescued us. Yes, I helped him live even despite everything he's done but I avoided him since then. He made me uncomfortable and I did not enjoy being in the same room as him.

"You mean sleeping right? Which is what you should be doing." He tilted his head, trying to make eye contact with me but I wouldn't let him.

He sounded exactly like Barry, and I was trying hard not to squirm. I can't show him that he makes me uncomfortable. I can't show any sign of weakness against him.

When I didn't say anything, he asked again. "Bad dreams? Oh wait, judging by your outfit, did you not go to bed at all?"

"That's none of your concern, thank you very much," I said through gritted teeth and turned my back on him. I was hoping he would get the hint and bugger off but he was still here looking at her.

"Look may I help you?" I finally asked. "What are you doing up, I thought you were asleep."

"Ouch, you sound very cold." He put a hand on his chest and pretended to look hurt.

I could care less. I thought. I shivered. Cold. That's one way to describe me. Killer Frost was still inside me. No one knows that though and I intend to keep it that way. They've already been through a lot, I can't burden them with my problem. I have to figure out how to lock away Killer Frost permanently so that she wouldn't reappear again and ruin everything.

"Earth to Caitlin? Savitar waved a hand in front of my face. "Well Earth 1 to Caitlin, because you know there are tons of other Earths-"

I quickly cut him off. "Alright, you know what? I'm going to bed now." I shuffled away but Savitar touched my arm and I immediately flinched.

He managed to look apologetic. I didn't think that was possible for him. "Sorry, it's just that I was going to take a walk but do you want to come with me?"

I burst out laughing thinking he was just messing with me but he looked serious. "Wait you're being serious? Are you planning to kidnap me again? Because trust me, I ain't going to fall for it."

He shook his head and gave a little grin. "You know what, never mind. Good night Dr. Snow."

"Wait! You're not supposed to go outside! It's only been a few days since the paradox and if anyone sees you-"

"Don't worry I'll be quick and cautious!" He interrupted me. "I need some fresh air, Dr. Snow."

That was the second time he called me Dr. Snow. Did I hurt his feelings? Nope, that was impossible. I don't even think he's even capable of feeling anything besides darkness and hatred. I was a doctor and I took an oath years ago. I would always help anyone in need of help. Helping people and saving them was my job. But with Savitar, I wasn't sure there's anything worth saving. And I can't save anyone who doesn't want to be saved no matter how much I try.

I sighed and strolled to my room. I miss my bed at home but I didn't want to be alone these days. I've been sleeping at S.T.A.R labs for a few days. Looks like everyone had the same idea as well. This past week, no one left home. We've all been crashing here. I also didn't trust Savitar to be alone here at the lab. Lord knows what he will do. Nobody offered to let him crash at their homes either. Staying here was the only option he had. At least for now.

I closed my eyes just as I heard a bird chirping outside. It was going to be a long night for me.
