Helpless (Inosuke×Aoi)

It has been 3 weeks since the Kamaboko Squad returned to the Butterfly Estate.
Tanjiro, Zenitsu and Inosuke were badly injured and they are being cared for by Shinobu and the other girls in order to recover.
Inosuke was more injured than the others and Aoi took care of him more.
He was extremely limited and could do nothing but just laying in his bed and this irritate him.
"Dammit!
I can't walk!
I can't move my hands!
I can't even move my head right or left safely! "

Inosuke was angry and was complaining.
"I want to punch some demon faces and not stand like an decorative statue in this bed!"

Inosuke has complained every day but today he seems to be more angry.
"THIS IS THE WORST!"

At that moment Aoi entered the room and looked at him who was angry.
"Angry again?"

Inosuke looked at her.
"Of course!
I want to get out of here! "

Aoi was angry at his words but took a deep breath and calmed down.
She took a chair and sat down close to his bed.
"Do you want to leave?"

Inosuke smiled.
"YES !!!"

Aoi looked at him.
"Okay you can leave but in the condition you are in you will not reach the exit gate until tomorrow.
Then if you go out you will be alone and no one will take care of your wounds and no one will feed you like a baby three times a day because you will not be able to search for food with wounds like this plus that if you do not bandage your body it will stay deformed and you will suffer pain all your life and you would be lucky if you did not become food for some mad bears in mountains! "

Aoi looked at him and he was shocked.
"I-I guess you're right."

Aoi took a bowl of hot soup and smiled.
"Then let me take good care of you so that you can recover as soon as possible."

She started giving Inosuke soup and he yelled.
"IT'S HOT!
MY TOUNGE IS BURNING!"

Aoi continued to give it to him.
"Hot soup is the best!"

Inosuke looked at her.
"I hate soup!
But if you made it I will eat it all!"

Aoi blushed.
"It's not that I know how to do it very well but t-thank y-you!"

After they finished Aoi approached to clean Inosuke's face but she did not like his scent at all and blocked her nose.
Inosuke looked at her.
"Why are you acting like you saw something slanderous?"

Aoi looked at him and kept distance.
"When is the last time you washed yourself?"

Aoi left and Inosuke began to think.
"Wash myself?
It seems to me a week ago.
But why did she get upset?"

Aoi later returned to the room with some clothes and a clean towel.
"Tanjiro and Zenitsu are standing in the yard.
And you will come with me! "

Inosuke became curious.
"What? Where? Why? How?"

Aoi helped him walk.
As Inosuke was walking he looked somewhat upset. Aoi looked at him.
"What are you thinking?"

Inosuke lowered his head.
"To think we ended up like this.
I can't walk and you are helping me with all your strength.
I don't know how to describe how I feel but this doesn't suit a man like me and it bother me."

Aoi was looking at him.
She was seeing a face that Inosuke barely show to others.
A thoughtful Inosuke.
She continued to hear him.
"This make my head hurt.
I promised that I will protect and help you but now we switched places!"

Aoi smiled looked at him.
"Idiot! You don't have to worry for that!
That day that you promised me that you will protect me, I promised you that I will help you with all it cost and to be near you.
Afterall you are Inosuke Hashibira a proud Demon Slayer.
You helped me many times and I owe you more than you think."

He blushed a little and talked in a low voice lowering his head.
"T-Thanks!"

Inosuke smiled and he returned to the normal one.
They arrive at the bathroom and Inosuke was surprised.
"Why did I come here?"

Aoi looked at him.
"You will bathe!
You have a disgusting smell! "

"What? What?
I bathed a week ago, do you remember?"

Aoi got angry.
"What are you trying to say.
You need to bathe everyday but i tolerate you because of you wounds!"

Inosuke looked at his wound.
"I cant even wash my body like this!"

Aoi took a towel and speaked in a low voice from embarrassment.
"I-I will h-help y-you."

Inosuke got confused by thinking for a moment and looked at Aoi who was blushing.
Aoi got embarrassed and yelled.
"Don't think lewd things, I'm just helping you to wash you head a and back."

Inosuke sat down and Aoi helped him remove his shirt.
Aoi left to get the soap and when she came back she saw Inosuke who was taking off his underpants.
Her face became completely red and she closed her eyes.
"IDIOT! WHAT DO YOU THINK YOU ARE DOING?"

Inosuke looked at her.
"Removing my clothes?
Is there any problem?"

Aoi couldn't handle the embarrassment
and she threw an bucket with water at his head.
"Put you underpants on. IDIOT!"

Later on ...
Aoi was washing Inosuke's back and she was was thinking.
"Even with more wounds your recovering was faster than Tanjiro and Zenitsu."

Inosuke smirked.
"Of Course because I am the strongest here!"

"Don't be braggart!"

Inosuke smiled and tried to move his head to see her.
"But I think your taking care was the factor of my fast recovering!
You really are doing a great job!"

Aoi blushed and smiled.
"Yes.But you know that I am not doing this because is my job or something, but because I want to take care of you as your girlfriend!"

Inosuke tried to catch Aoi hand and he hold it tight while smiling.
"Thank you! My girlfriend!"
