"Jaclyn, Jaclyn! Look this way!"

"Is a wedding around the corner?"

"Jaclyn, will His Royal Highness be attending your show this weekend?"

In the chill air the bite into her lip to keep her words in didn't hurt nearly as much as it usually did. Her bare hands clenched in the deep pockets of her navy coat like tensing up would fight off the chill air. Sadly there was no way to fight off the cold, just as there was no way to avoid the paparazzi.

The flashes were worse than normal, perhaps that was because she had grown used to only a few cameras, now several swarmed her as she tried to make her way to the black car waiting outside of the dance school.

A mic or two bumped her on the chin or cheek, and she could only pray no one caught a picture of her shocked face as they did. She tried to use her two ton dance bag as a shield, but they all just used it to push against her.

The car was just ahead, and William's driver, reached through the bodies and helped pull her out, but the crowd just followed her pushing the two of them against the car.

Once inside the car she exhaled and collapsed getting a small smile from the driver. "How many do you think there were Robert?" She exhaled not even attempting to sit up.

"Easily, twenty, Miss Webber." As she groaned he continued, "it's best to remember that this is the first time His Royal Highness and you have seen each other in three months. They're probably anxious to get a story."

"Fair enough, the most they got this last month was a tapped phone call where we talked about our dogs."

She had been warned by basically everyone that going to see him a day before one of her biggest shows was a mistake Thomas wanted her on her A game after all, and he had some misguided idea that seeing William, after how they left off would screw with her mind.

Jaclyn was convinced only good things could come from this trip to St. James's Palace. After all, their first encounter could not be minutes after the concert with everyone eavesdropping. They had talked whenever they could over the last three months, she hoped it would be like they had never left.

Well she had no reason to worry about things being awkward. Upon seeing her outside the Lancaster House William instantly pulled her from Roberts care into the apartment.

"Jaclyn," he had said trying to sound calm despite his eager outburst upon seeing her.

"William," she replied cheekily squeezing his hand.

The room she had entered into was grand in simple terms. Complete with marble floors, paintings of previous monarchs and royals which were taller than her, and two winding staircases that wrapped the very large room. William had said since had taken her everywhere he could imagine around London he still wanted to take her just next door.

Jaclyn toyed with the white threads of the scarf her Grandma Janet had made for her for Christmas as William guided her through the apartment. It was a sky blue scarf with white finishing off the ends, white little puffs representing snow and two snowmen on one end.

She was almost struggling to take everything in while also taking time to admire him. Without meaning to they had both worn jeans and navy crew neck sweaters Jaclyn almost preferred the look to his suits, it was kind of sexy but she would never be caught saying that aloud. Still, it was nice not having to dress up to match him.
