Chapter 32

"Tumse kyun jud raha hun iss tarah,
Tumhari baton se khus hun kyun iss tarah.
Kis dewangein mein ulajh raha hun main.
Kon se tasavvur mein kho raha hun iss tarah.."

Sid looks at his reflections in the mirror thinking about the way his frustration was suddenly replaced by a feeling of content. He knew by now that he wanted this assurance from Sana. And he feels good now as he knows, that she will do what he had asked her too. She now has started affecting him very deeply and the problem is he can't do anything about it. He has absolutely no idea if this is good or bad for him. His thoughts were broken as Sagar, his colleague enter the washroom.

Sagar smiles and says," Aur bhai kya chal raha hai?(What is going on brother?)" Sid in the effort to avoid him, smiles at him and tries to go out. But Sagar holds him and says," Arey, are you avoiding me or what? I should be the one to stay angry on you for not introducing your wife but yahaan toh dekh raha hun sab ulta hai.(things are opposite here.)" Sid says,"No it's nothing like that. I have some work so.." Sagar smiles at him and says," Hmm, woh toh hoga. Yesterday you were absent from office. I heard about the incident with Sana and that Asim Khan. Is everything true?" Sid replies," Listen I need to go." Sagar smiles and says,"Everyone knows about their relationship. Don't mind Sidharth but you shouldn't have married her. These actresses are all you know, have relationship with other people before marriage. I don't understand how you fell for her." Sid's fingers are rolled into fist now and his knuckles white. He clenching his teeth, looks at Sagar and says," Did I ask for any suggestions from you? My life is none of your business. And how dare you talk nonsense about my wife? You saw the news right then you must have known what happened to that actor. He couldn't withstand just my push, imagine what will happen to you if I...just put a finger on you." He puts his hand on Sagar's shoulder and smiles,"Don't mind Sagar bhai, but never again discuss your point of view with me in future. I am not interested to know." He goes near the door and turning back he says," Aur hain kabhi ayiye ghar bhabiji ke saath, milwata hun meri Wife se.(Do come to my house someday with your wife, I will introduce my wife to you.) Take care."

Sid reaches the studio after his office and parking his bike goes inside. He finds Asim Khan getting down from Sana's van with her and Mamaji and a middle aged man in a Safari suit. Asim looking at Sid goes and hugs Sana and says something to her and Mamaji. Sid's temper has already started to rise. As he moves forwards, Asim Khan smiles at him and goes towards him. He hugs him and whispers in his ears," You think you have won today but actually you are a fool. Sana is just like a stubborn kid, who needs a new toy everytime. But she always have one favourite teddy. You are her boy toy now but I will always remain her favourite." He smiles leaving him and says loudly," Sorry dude, it was all big misunderstanding. No hard feelings man. See ya.." He turns around and goes with the man in Safari suit. Sana says something to Mamaji and comes towards Sid with a smile on her face. She says," I have got my scarf. I will cover my face. Okay. Now let's go home." Sid just looks at her as she puts her hand around his arms and pulls him towards the bike.

Sana starts blabbering about how Asim's father had come down and he had everyone sit and talk about the problem. Asim had apologised to her for his statement and his behaviour. He had also promised not to say anything in future. His father had explained that they are a good and hit pair on the screen and they should not sabotage this for the sake of their personal problems. Sid remained silent all the way till they reach home.

At the dinner table too, Sana keeps talking about everything that had happened that day. She says," You know Maa, I did not say a word or even looked at him till he said sorry. I just said, whatever..like why should I say sorry. You get what you do. He said so many bad things and so he got what he deserved. Right." Sumitraji smiles and says," Bas..finish your food. Kitna bolti hai yeh ladki." Sumitraji notices Sid is very quite and so asks," Tujhe kya hua hai?( What has happened to you?) She is continuously talking and you are so silent. You are also not eating properly. Is everything alright at office?" Sid looks at her but before he could open his mouth, Sana laughs and says,"Usse Asim se hug mila hai.( He has got a hug from Asim) He is still can't believe it. It will take time to sink in.." Sid looks at her and says," And you are happy because you too got a hug from him. Isn't it?" Saying this, he gets up, picks up his plate and goes into the kitchen. Sumitraji asks," Arey why did you get up? Don't get angry bacha. Khana iss tarah bich mein nahi chodte. You had not eaten anything in the morning as well." Sid comes out of the kitchen and looking at Sana says,"Asim ke hug ne bhook mita di. (The hug from Asim has killed my hunger.)" Saying this, he goes into his room and slams the door.
