Sophia's POV
Okay,I get it what I said about my father was a bit harsh but if you were in my shoes and went through what I went through then you'll understand why I said what I said.My father put my mother and I through hell when he left us just to be with another woman.Eight years..eight freaking years of nothing but straight depression after he left us.I barely ate,I barely had any sleep,I stopped talking to all of my friends to the point that my mom had to force me to go outside and hang with them but that didn't work.For eight years I always cried myself to sleep because my father no longer wanted to be with us anymore and I always thought that it was my fault because I wasn't the perfect child that he always wanted.When I turned twenty I buried my depression with weed and alcohol so I could be numb from the pain that I was feeling when my father left and I was too scared to even tell him because I was afraid to hurt his feelings.But now that I learned to get over the hurt and pain that I held on for so long everything is different from now on
"A what?!" Jennifer asked
"A Hebrew Israelite" Sophia replied smiling as Jennifer stared at her confused. "Don't look at me like that,Jennifer"
"Look at you like what?" Jennifer asked
"Like I'm going crazy when I'm not" Sophia replied
"Okay,so who told you about this Hebrew Israelite stuff?" Jennifer asked
"Jacob did" Sophia replied
"And where did he get this information from?" Jennifer asked
"This camp called IUIC they post classroom videos of them talking about it and about keeping God's law's and commandments. Then they talk about how the bible holds our true history and our true nationality" Sophia replied
"IUIC? What does that mean?" Jennifer asked
"Israelite United In Christ" Sophia replied
"And they apparently know the real truth?" Jennifer asked
"It's not just them there's other camps that knows about it,too" Sophia replied
"It's very interesting seeing how much information you have about these people and what they teach"
"I'm actually still learning. I got a few things that they teach to study on,so I can understand it more"
"Oh okay,that's cool" Jennifer said nodding in approval
"Did you know that there's twelve tribes of Israelites?" Sophia asked
"No,I didn't know anything about that. This is my first time hearing about it" Jennifer replied
"Yea,well there's twelve tribes that represents all the blacks,hispanics and Native Americans. We're the true Jews according to the bible"
"I thought the Jews were those people that wears those weird hats on their heads and long beards on those chins with their sideburns all twisted up"
"No,they're not the real Jews according to the bible .The so-called blacks,hispanics and native Americans are the true Jews according to the bible. They're just pretending to be Jews"
