At y/n's home: As I was entering my house I saw my stepmom walking past me like I didn't even exist. Not like I mind though. As I entered our living room I saw my grandpa sitting on our sofa with an anxious look on his face. I ran to him.
"What happened grandpa? Why are you looking worried? " I asked as I took a seat near him.
"Nothing princess, " he said.
"Don't lie to me and say me what happened honestly," I paused for a while before saying "I saw stepmom walk out of our house. why did she come here? Why does it feel like you are hiding something from me"
"I'm y/n. I'm hiding something very big. I'm ashamed of myself. I want you to know the truth and you will............but after the party. I don't want to distract your mind from the celebration. Enjoy the party y/n" he said and I was damn sure that this was something very serious. Judging by the look of his face I could tell he is burdened. I checked my watch and went to my room.
