My phone buzzes on my nightstand waking me up. My eyelashes flutter open as the discussion I witnessed last night floods my mind. I have so many questions that I can't answer. I stayed up until late last night, I couldn't stop thinking about what was said. Though the words that were playing over and over in my head was Corbyn's words; nothing needs to happen to remind me how much of a miserable hell my life is. Every time I think about it, I feel sadness creeping into my heart. I didn't know he hated his father so much; nor that he involves himself in fights so often. The image of his bloody knuckles startle me; I stand up quickly and rush around my room in order to get ready.

I feel this crazy flaming need to see him; to makes sure he is okay.

I walk around my new high school but he's nowhere to be found. I comfort myself thinking that I will see him in my second class. In the second period, my eyes don't leave the door. Every time it opens my eyes widen waiting for him to show up but nothing. I keep huffing every time the door opens revealing one more student who isn't Corbyn.

The door opens and Mr. Lance comes in and I know that he's not going to come. Fear crackles under my skin; maybe his wounds and gashes are deeper than I thought and he couldn't come. I attempt to control my rapid breathing and avoid those kind of thoughts and repeat to myself that he just got into a fight and he's fine. He's fine. He's.

The rest of the day is spent ridiculously slow. I can't seem to be able to get him out of my mind. Every one of thoughts are consumed by him. My fright of infection grows bigger by the hour. In the last break, I walk to my locker to leave some books and I see Noah on my way there.

"Hey!" I smile at him.

"So, remember the party we went to the last weekend?"

I experienced so many remarkable moments. I saw Corbyn kissing tons of girls and sleeping with one. He was being nice to me for the first time, I saw him staring at me, and on top of everything else, he yelled at me. Could I ever forget all that? I couldn't, could I? Although, I saw a boy playing the piano.

"He's hosting a party this weekend too. Are you in?"

My last thought stops me; maybe at this party, I'll get the opportunity to see him again and find out who that mysterious and sad boy was. Therefore, I nod and Noah's face split in two into a huge grin that makes me slightly giggle.

"Great!" He gives me a quick hug. Noah waves at someone behind me and my hopes go up.

I turn around and find Jacob coming towards us with another boy I've never seen before. He's in total black outfit and as I get a better look at him, I notice that he looks hurt too. His hands are bruised and a mark covers his cheek.

"Who the hell are you?" The unknown boys asks with a frown. My eyes narrow unconsciously at his words.

"She's our cousin," Noah says sweetly looking at me.

"Since when do you have a cousin?" I feel my anger built up inside me at his rude tone and attitude.

"She was living in Chicago," Noah explains and he just nods scanning me with his eyes.

"Does Corbyn know you?" He asks after a few seconds of awkward silence.

"Yeah," Jacob states letting us know that he listens even though he's staring at his phone.

"So, how is he like?" I frown.

"Come on...you know what I mean," A wicked smile forms on his lips as I keep being confused.

"In bed," The unfamiliar boys clarifies causing me to blush; I can feel my cheeks heat up. "I don't know what he does to them but every girl that sleeps with him is going crazy about him. I'm sure you're too,"
