Gary checked into his motel for the night, upon his arrival he had heard a news broadcast. "Man, 23, escapes from ins-" and then he shut off his car. As he went up to his room he felt as if he was being watched. He quickly entered his room and was startled by a painting on the wall. At first, he thought that it was man looking through his window, then he quickly realized that it wasn't possible. He was on the second floor. It just struck him how those eyes looked at him so intently...
The next morning while he was packing to leave he was startled to find that the man had moved. He moved twords the painting and quickly discovered that it was a window. Upon further inspection he had found a ladder under his window with foot prints all around.
