Marcus's POV
The moment I heard that door open and inhaled her sweet addicting scent, like honey suckles and vanilla. I could only imagine what she tasted like.

She was the most beautiful girl I had ever seen. Her beautiful hair cascaded over her shoulders, her skin was smooth and it practically glowed, she had the most beautiful eyes I had ever seen. I didn't know what to do when she walked in, all I really wanted to do was go up to here and take her against the wall. But considering this is my first day and we were in front of many other students I willed myself not to, but damn was it hard.

Thankfully she came in late because even if she came in first I would have had to find another reason for her to stay with me, now that I have found her I never want her to leave my side.

Her name suited her, she was indeed as beautiful as a rose. I couldn't help but look over at her as much as possible during homeroom without making it to suspicious but sometimes I couldn't help it. I wanted nothing more than to just touch her, feel the sparks under my skin, show her the love I have been waiting to share with my soul mate for three hundred forty seven years. I had to keep my composure, making sure not to get to close to her or to inhale her scent to much...I'm not full enough to controls myself completely around her.

The only way I knew to control myself was to seem irritable towards her. That at least through off how much I wanted her a little.

The moment I touched her I knew it was real, that I had truly found her..I almost lost it.

To see that she had third period with me was a plus, even if she didn't I would go up to the office and change her schedule myself. I don't even know if I like the idea of only seeing her once a day for only 55 minutes, it'll be practically torture.

I was pleased to see her relived that I didn't have a girlfriend, I had to look at her to see her reaction, I just want to take in every detail of her face, her body, everything. I have been waiting for her a very long time and I plan to spend every waking moment protecting and love her unconditionally. The impediment of me being her teacher might complicate things but it won't take me from her.

After she left to go to her next class, it was as if I was drained, like her presents fueled me. I was just waiting for third period counting down the minutes. Not like I was actually teaching today it was all introductions and handing out paperwork to all the humans.

It took awhile, 50 years of being a vampire before I could be around humans for any long period of time. I had to learn to control my thirst, but now I stay regularly fed. I haven't killed a human in over 200 years, most of the humans I killed, after I learned to control my thirst at 50, were an accident. I either went to long without feeding or I couldn't help myself on very rare occasions. Back then it was a lot different, vampires were more vicious. They didn't care if someone was found dead with there blood drained, but with this generation we have to be careful. Now to be unnoticed many of us vampires who want to live among humans in peace use a certain mind control. We make the humans feel nothing, it's like going into a deep sleep until we take a fair amount of blood, without killing them, then they can walk away unharmed like it never happened. We make our bite invisible to everyone who isn't supernatural, so humans don't see large punctures in others necks and so other vampires don't feed on the same person too soon.

The only reason the sun doesn't effect me is because of an enchanted tattoo. It's on my left shoulder blade in black ink. it's a aztec looking sun tattoo. It's very precisely done from a spell book done by a witch.

This is not something many vampires have, you have to go through this long process for the supernatural beings giving it to you, witch or sorcerer, that you will use it to live a normal life and that you are good to the humans and not going to use this gift to kill them off.
