I honestly can't even BEGIN to describe how fucking proud I am of this edit like!! For three days straight, the song was just not clicking with me and I was feeling really fucking discouraged because I didn't wanna change it (since it would defeat the entire purpose of this chapter, you know?) But it FINALLY came together and I'm so glad I didn't give up bc it's really cute and soft and I'm just so happy with it ☺
Aside from collecting the footage, which took so FUCKING long (if anyone needs scene packs of IU from Hotel del Luna or My Mister, or of Diego Luna from Rogue One or Havana Nights, I made those in the process of making this video so HMU) I think this is the fastest I've ever completed an edit?? I edited one of the manips yesterday, but I did everything else today!! And, not to flex, but it turned out really good!! So like!! Please give me love I crave validation ♡
Also, just a little side note, but the footage of young!Meelei (the black and white scenes) are from the Korean drama Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo AND WHEN I TELL YOU THAT THAT DRAMA BROKE ME ─ like!! Listen. I'm not a huge fan of k-dramas (I know, gasp, I'm Korean and I don't like Korean dramas, believe me, my family gives me so much shit for it) but because I had to directly cut clips of IU from the drama, I ended up binging all of it in the process. And it was SO GOOD!! LIKE!! It was sad as FUCK, the ending will leave you in tears, and I highly recommend it!! Someone please watch it so we can talk about it!!
