Chap 24:Into the Rice field

Chap 24

Geo is shock to see a woman in their house carrying his son.

He angrily glare at the woman who got reallt scared of him.

A lot of scenario flash in his mind.
One of those is that Wally is so heart broken that some girl climb in to their bed and seduce him.
Now that it happens this woman will be sharing his husband with him from now on.
No!
He will rather kill this bitch now.

"Who are you?" He shouted so loud that the sleeping Leon wakes up startled from his scream.

Geo is also startled and he wants to make the baby stop crying but the woman expertly do it in his stead.

There is a huge thing blocking his rationality and making his heart heavy.

Geo almost cried but he held in.
He is trembling.

"....Wally....cheated on me?" He was so at lost that he wants to lost consciousness.

"No! No! What are you saying? This is me." The girl is busy rocking the startled Leon but what she heard scared her.

"Who are you?" Geo is holding himself preparing for the worst.

"Hannah. I am Hannah. Your sister-in-law. You scared me." She said looking really stress.

Relieve Geo take a deep breath and walks to them.
He takes Leon to his arms.
"Why are you here? Where is Wally?"

"Brother-in-law went to harvest the rice together with the others. He said you are in the town to do some work but he didn't tell me you will be back today. How's the work in the town?"
Hannah smiles.

Geo didn't smile but he knows that Hannah is really scared of him right now.

"Its not that great and they pay less than they said and the work is too much. I quit so I am back. Have you eaten?"
He said as he smiles seeing Leon stares at him unmoving.
"Why are you stari g at Mommy?"

Leon laughs and raise his hand to touch his face.
Feeling the warm small hand, tears he is forcing to hide drops.
He was scared to be honest.
Using his skill as a bluff of his strong front, nobody can tell how shaken he was.
He was scared and worried.
All of it builds up.
But the warmth return to him.

He smiles and kisses Leon who giggles as he kisses him.

Hannah rubs her hand and smiles in a distance.
She knew that something must have happen for Alli to be that stress and even cry.

Even Wally is acting strange.
He looks tired and soulless and his smile that usually there is gone.

"Should I cook?" Geo asks.

"I can cook. You must be tired." Hannah said.

Geo smiles.
"Sit down. You are pregnant, do not force yourself."

Hannah blushes seeing the beautiful Geo smiling at her with a bit of tears in the edge of his eyes.

Wally is drowning himself with work.
If so, when he return home he can just sleep.

"What is wrong with you? Eat." William frowns and tap Wally's back.

Wally shakes his head.
"Im not hungry."

"Not hungry? Your wife is in the town. Who cook for you then?"
William asks.

Wally flinched and then he paused.
Yes, Alli is in the town...But what he is doing there is different to what others thought he was doing......In the bed with another man.

Wally's eyes reddened.
He went back to what he is doing without talking again.

His father is sure that there is something wrong but Wally doesn't want to talk about it.

"Dad," Geo smiles at William when he turns around.

"Oh!" Startled, William shakes his head. "I thought you are working in town?"

Geo smiles and look at Wally's back who obviously using too much force unnecessarily.

"We...Actually, I resigned. The work is not that good and the pay is lower than they promise me. And...I will be away to my husband and my son..."

"True. It is better to stay woth your family. We can earn money even we are together."

"Dad, can you...Give us some time to talk.. We actually part ways in a bad way last time so.."

William nods.
"I understand. Go ahead talk to him. I think he haven't eaten yet."

"Thank you dad."

Geo watches William leaves them. He stays at Wally's back watching him.

The man looks normal in a way.

Tap.
Tap.

Wally looks back and see Alli. His whole body froze.
He let go of the sickle and just stare at him.

Geo smiles but he begun to cry as he dive to Wally's sweating body.

Wally is trembling as the weight is too much to him but he didn't fall.
He hugs him back.
Hugs him tight to make sure that the man is real this time and not the countless of imaginary Alli he hugs at night.

"Are you real?" Wally let go of him and grabs Geo's face that is wet with tears.

Geo pouts.
"Do I feel unreal?"

Wally smiles and hugs him again.
Tighter than before.

Geo hugs him too.
Then they kiss.
Wally slowly put him down on the rice field as the kiss deepen.

The two gasps for air but Geo won't let go of Wally's neck.
He keep looking at him.

"Husband.....I..."

"What happened?" Wally asks as he grabs Geo's waist.
"I can take anything as long as you say you will not leave me."
He said and hugs him.

Geo smiles.
But he starts looking away.

Fear.

Wally grabs Alli's chin and pull it up a bit to make their eyes meet.

"Did he....Did he..."

"No. He didn't have a chance." Geo said and worriedly hugs Wally's body.
"Promise me...you will not leave me."
He said instead as he lay his head on Wally's chest.

Wally starts laughing.
"That's what I am afraid of.....Why would I leave you?"

"...I...I killed them."

Wally stiffened.
Geo looks up and see Wally's confuse gaze.
"......Are you....Do you hate me now?"
Geo asks worriedly.

Wally slowly close his eyes.

"What? Are you saying you don't love me now?" Geo asks in a panic voice.

Wally opens his eyes.
There is something in it that makes Geo scared.

"What are you..."

Wally pounce at him.
The tearing of the clothes are drown by the simple machinery the farmers are using.

Geo's first sex outside of their house happen in their own field.
The man refuse to stop pouncing at him.
Geo was thrilled and also scared that they will be found out but William, tacitly understand that they have to have a good 'talk' as a husband and wife and told everyone not to bother their 'serious conversation'.

Wally fell asleep after his rigorous activity.

Geo on the other hand have to put the clothes on the sleeping Wally.
He smiles and hug him after he and Wally has their clothes on.

He kisses his face and smile.
He too is tired.
