"Again!"
"I can barely move." I whine, my hands tired.
"You're not leaving until you get it right. Now, again!"
I held the gun back up and shot at the target, missing again.
"I don't want you to come home until you can shot properly." She slapped her hand on my shoulder and left.
When I knew she was gone I shot bullseye until my round was out. I packed up the small bag of weapons I had brought and went to retrieve my other bag from behind the tree.
I went fast, I had memorized the route on foot to the bus station. I was trained for this, to blend in. This was the only way to getaway from her lifestyle. I was done killing for her, killing in general. I was going to reinvent myself, away from her.
"Last call for Beacon Hills!" I heard the bus driver announce.
I waited until we were out of the city to finally relax. I yanked my necklace off, one she gave me. I put it one of my bags and started to drift off.
