 spaghetti spell

These past few days have been pretty good unlike Ava I don't stay sick very long. So I'm pretty much okay now, I could even eat something that's not soup.Like uh whatever food we have in the fridge!

I walk out into the living room to see Rhys?

"Uh hey Rhys what're you doing?" I asked

"Oh perfect timing! Lady Y/n I was wondering if you could try this!" He asked

Why did he call me 'Lady Y/n' I thought I was called prisoner.
And since when did he get glasses

"Sure what is it? And when did you get glasses?"

"Oh these! Well they are amazing, I haven't been able to see the best lately and Mrs Oats gave me these and now I can see everything! Even you I haven't seen a clear image of your face until now" he says holding my hands

I feel my face get really hot

Oh my god why is he so cute with glasses, these with his human clothes would make him kind of look like a teacher.

"Lady Y/n?" He asked

"Eh? Y-Yeah, sorry I was spacing out" I mumbled

"Oh I was just wondering if you were okay your face is getting red. Are you perhaps sick again?" He asked expressing worry for me but all I could think of is how embarrassed I was he caught me blushing

"I-IM FINE! Like we said h-humans take longer to get better so I'm still a little sick I just came in here to get food I feel good enough to eat something else then soup" I stutter

"Great timing! I was looking though this spell book and saw this Spaghetti spell"

Spaghetti spell? Oh god that sounds messy

"Really now? What is it?" I asked

"Well I wanted you to try it." He says backing up for me to see a bowl of what looks like perfect spaghetti!

"OHMYGODTHISLOOKSSOGOOD!" I yelled

"Really! You would really try it for me?" He asked stars in his eyes

"Of course I would it looks perfect" I smiled

"Thank you I want to make sure it's perfect so when I make it for Princess Ava she would like it" he smiled a blush just by the mention of Avas name

I felt my heart sink of course it's for Ava I'm just the test dummy for them to try out their moves then if they go well they take the shot with Ava.

"Thanks Rhys I'm gonna eat it in my room. I'll tell you how it tastes after" I say with a fake smile and take the bowl he made for me and walk into my room.

Of course it tastes good, god I hate life sometimes it's like right when I feel like they start to care about me again they go and say something to break my heart

'Ava this and Ava that' but it's not Avas fault.

I wonder if Ava was in my shoes would she feel the same way?

I get up outta my room and walk back into the kitchen seeing Rhys still looking though the cook book.

I don't say anything immediately and just watch him as he reads through the book. Suddenly he looks up at me

Damn Y/n this is the second time he's caught you today

"Ah Lady Y/n, did you enjoy it?" He asked

"Yes I did, it had a lot of good flavours I'm pretty surprised you were able to pick it up this fast. Ava can't even cook I've tried to teach her almost 50 times she can never pick it up"

"Well I'd be happy to make these spells for you both" he says

See this they always say something that involves the both of us and it makes my heart flutter then they go and stomp on it!

"Well thank you anyways Rhys, I'm gonna go lay down see you" I say waving to him
He gives me one final smile as I enter my room.

I look down at my phone to see
'Lorelei'

Why is she calling me? Reluctantly I answered the phone

"Hey Lorelei"

"Y/n hey! I was wondering if you and Ava wanted to come eat out with me and Steve, we had a dinner reservation for 4 but two of them canceled so we have extra seats"

"Oh well Ava and me got sick so I don't know if I can-" I cut myself off and think

I haven't had a lot of fun lately and even though Lorelei and me don't always get along it could be fun

"actually Lorelei Ava is still really sick but I'm better now so I'll come along!"

"Oh that's great! I have this SUPER cute guy friend you should meet, you'd love him"

"Great.."

I'm starting to regret my decisions.
