𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗼𝗶𝗻𝗲'𝘀 𝘃𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗼𝘂𝘀 𝘀𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿

Lydia POV

I woke up in a sweat and it was hot. I groan as I try to get up. I fall back into bed feeling dizzy.

" good morning miss Lydia , oh my miss Lydia you have a cold " she check my temperature

" I'm not stick " I croak

" I'm calling the family doctor " she said

I watch as she disappears and my heart aches at the pain in my head. It was so hot. I begin to tear up at the pain. I get sick but not not like this.

" ahh miss Lydia the doctors coming , please hold on " she puts a small cold towel on my head

I let out a cry and squirm.

" sister angeline " I hear

" miss Catherine please don't come in , miss Lydia is very sick she won't go to school today " grace said

" sister " I hear again

Then I felt a wave of sleepiness and fall asleep.

Vincent POV

I watch as the carriage door open and see only Catherine. Who looks like she's about to cry. Our eyes meet and she runs to us. Lawrence and Christopher and I waited for the two girls.

" Catherine where angeline " Lawrence beats me

" she was crying in pain , grace said she is very sick " she sniffles

I felt my face go pale. Angeline was sick. I should have given her new clothes but she left immediately. All we hear is Catherine sniffles.

Alan my little brother is okay because angeline gave the towel to him. I'm thank for her for saving my brother.

I would leave the school but we have student council. I look and see everyone is worried.

" let's go to class " Christopher said monotone

We all walk together still in silence. It's okay angeline. I will come and visit as soon as it's over.

Lydia POV

I wake up as the sun peers into my curtains. I see grace is next to me sitting in a chair. I smile and get up. My head spinning slightly. I look outside carefully not too wake up grace.

The sun was setting. I was still in my sleeping gown. I wrap a blanket around me.

" oh miss Lydia I was so worried " I hear grace cry

I hug her back and she's so cold. I pat her back that's when my stomach makes noise.

" can you make me some food I'm hungry grace " I laugh embarrassed

She laughs and we walk to the dinner room. I felt lonely in here.

" can I just eat in the kitchen , it's too big and empty " I mumble

" of course , most of the maids left so it's just us and a few " she said

We walk into the kitchen and was greeting with other staff. I say hello and it's a safe atmosphere. They welcome me with smiles and ask if I'm okay.

" what you making grace " I said

I sit in a chair and I can see what there cooking.

" I had soup and some bread already made for you " she said

She gives me a hot bowl and bread with a glass of water. I continue to eat while they talk among themselves.

That's when the the door opens maybe it was Catherine coming from school. I can greet her later. I hope the boy didn't catch a cold. That's would be awful for him , hopefully the towel warmed him enough so he didn't catch a cold.

I hear a scream and I drop the spoon. It should like Catherine. I get up from the chair and thank the maids before running. I see my room open and see Catherine crying and see all the guys here.

" angeline I thought you were gone " she said

She hugs me almost making us fall.

" Catherine , you scared me. I thought something bad happened to you " I felt my heart pound like crazy

She sobs into me. I see the guys smile but avert there eyes. I had a blanket on they can't see my gown.

" what are you guys doing here , it's already late " I said confused

" we were all worried about you being sick so we came to visit right away after the student council was done " Vincent said

" how's your brother , did he catch a cold " I said worried

" not at all not at all , my family is asking a for a dinner with you " he said smiling

That's good he didn't catch a cold wait hold up a dinner with his family. That's way to much pressure. Maybe I can announce my disengagement with the prince there. I nodded my head smiling.

" do you guys wanna stay for the tonight , we can have a sleep over in my room. I would like the company too " I said smiling

Everyone looks at each other and nods there head. Maybe tonight was the last night I will stay with them. Might as well be together.
