"..." I don't rush my response to Zon.

In my head, I'm processing the sight and my own crazily fast heartbeat. It might be because I think I know the purpose of why Zon is trying to talk to me today, but I never expected that as soon as Zon realises it, he would immediately come to talk about it.

"... or are you busy?"

"I'm free. What does Zon want to talk about?"

"It's... can we talk somewhere more private?" Zon gives me a pleading and begging look, while Fai beams thinly as though she understands the entire situation.

"If that's so, Saifah can go to talk with Zon. Fai should go to class already."

"Krub."

"If there's any update, do tell Fai na ka." Fai raises her eyebrow and turns to smile at Zon once. "See you later na Zon."

"Ok, see you later." After Zon smiles at Fai, he turns to face me once again.

"Have you thought of where you want to have that talk?" I stand, asking the smaller guy.

"Let's look for a quiet place to talk."

"If that's the case, how about we head to the backside of the Engineering Faculty building?"

"Emm, anywhere is fine." Zon nods before he follows my back, walking towards the back of this faculty where there aren't many people passing by. It's normally quiet and peaceful, and when it's nearly time for class, almost no one is around as well.

"Do you have class in the afternoon?" Zon asks me.

"Yes."

"Then-" Zon breathes in deeply. "It's better to talk about it fast."

"Sure, go on."

I stare into the eyes of the petite guy who's standing before me, facing me. The eyes of Zon are filled with anxiety, like he couldn't really say the things he wanted to say out loud.

"Zon?" I need to call him several times to get him out of his trance.

"I know... why do you like to pressure me so much huh?"

"I didn't pressure you or anything. But I saw you call for me yet you refuse to talk... what's up with that?"

"Actually I... I have something to ask you na."

"About?" I raise my eyebrows, questioning the person in front of me.

There's a bit of hesitation in Zon's look, but in the end he breathes out gradually as if he's determined to speak about this one particular matter.

"Are you and Fai really dating?"

Seeing him like this makes me smile, I can't help it. However, as soon as Zon begins to frown, I immediately switch back to my previous expression.

"What do you think?"

"I ask you na Saifah."

"Then, right now let me ask you. What do you think? Do you think I date Fai or not?"

"Erm." Zon nods in an obviously displeased manner. "I think you must have been dating each other maybe."

"Why do you think that?"
