Ibtihaj entered in launch whistling cheerfully holding a box full of brownies.
" Where is Anfal?"
He asked to Narmeen who was studying there on sofa.
"Walaikum Salam bhai!! Bhabhi is in her room."
Narmeen smiled and he ran towards his room ruffling her hair.
"Today I am gonna surprise you my baby!!"
He smiled looking at her favourite brownies he was holding.
Entering in room he locked the door behind.
"Anfal?"
What surprised him was the darkness in room. There was no light switched on.
"Anfal are you there??"
He said in pitched voice but got no reply.
He walked ahead trying to find the switch board but stumbled on something but didn't fall.
"What..??"
His words died on his lips when he saw that he stumbled on a broken glass pieces which were scattered all over.
Just then he spotted a frame sitting in front of bed on floor.
"Anfal!!!"
He called upon her and switched on the light and turned around.
His mind signalled him about danger when he saw her sitting there with her face hidden in her knees while her arms were around her legs.
"What happened ? Why are you sitt..."
He forgot to speak.
Words denied to come out from his mouth.
Smile faded.
His face turned pale.
His eyes bored into the paper placed in front of her on floor.
Brownies slipped down his hands woth him sliding down on floor in front of her.
" This..."
He took reports in his hand.
What he was fearing abput had happened already.
He didn't want her to find out the truth like this.
"Anfal I..."
Ibtihaj was sdatching for words when she interupted him.
"Why? Why you hide this from me? Do you consider me this weak that I can't handle it? Why you did this???"
She shouted with teary eyes and voice.
"I was abput to tell you.."
"When?? WHEN??? WHEN WILL YOU BE GOING TO TELL ME?? IT SHOULDN'T HAVE HIRT ME THIS MUCH IF YOU DIDN'T HIDE IT FROM ME. THE THIRD PERSON TOLD ME TODAY!! SAYING THAT YOUR HUSBAND HIDE IT FROM YOU!!!"
He shouted clenching his collar while he just looked down.
"What bad I did to get this? Tell me!!!"
She cried tiredly punching his chest.
"Just get out of my sight!!! I dont want to face you!! Facinv you rememberes mw what I have lost!!"
After crying for somw moments she left his collar and slided back leaning her back on bed.
He wanted to console her but refrained himself.
He stood up and sat on other side of bed leaning on it across her on floor.
Their backs were facing each other.
"I hate the I met you!!
I hate the moment you came in my life!!
I hate the moment i fell in love woth you!!
I got destroyed!!!"
She cried pulling her hair out.
