Let's Go Sports Festival!!

I spent the last few weeks training with my friends and Izuku, Aizawa had Lunch Rush make me a food package to eat while I'm training and so Venom is satisfied. Lunch Rush knows me very well, due to me being the biggest thing since quirks were discovered, and he let's me have any leftover food I need.(Lunch Rush is so underrated!) Before I knew it, it was the day of the Sports festival. 

"Awww! I really wanted to wear my costume!" Mina whined as I finished the last of my snack while we walked out of the changing room and into the main locker room with everyone else. "Well our costumes are meant to help us in combat and boost our quirks power. If we're not wearing them, it will be more fair if we everyone is wearing the same thing." Ojiro said and I nodded. 

"Yeah, Ojiro's right. Besides, We'll still crush the competition! Costumes or not!" I yelled and I felt someone's hand on my shoulder. "Huh? Oh, hey Kiri!" I said and he smiled. "I know you're excited but you might want to tone it down a bit, you're probably gonna wanna save your energy for the events." He said nervously and I nodded. 

"I guess I am being a bit rowdy. Sorry." I said scratching the back of my head. "Everyone! Get your game faces on! We're entering the arena soon!" Iida said slamming the door open. "Midoriya." Shoto said out of nowhere. "Hey, Todoroki. What's up?" Izuku replied turning to him. "From an objective standpoint, I think it's fairly clear that I am stronger than you." Todoroki said and I was shocked. 

'What?! What's all of the 'Declarations of War'?? And from our classmate of all people!' I thought but was to shooketh to say anything. "Uh-um yeah..." Izuku responded. "However, you've got All Might in your corner, helping you out. I'm not her to pry about what's going on between you two, but know that I will beat you." He said and I was getting a little frustrated at this point. 

"Whether you're my classmate or not, we're not friends and I will beat you." He said to him and started walking away. 'That's it.' I thought, I grabbed his wrist and dragged him out of the locker room. "What were you thinking Sho?! Threatening my brother?! What is up with you right now?!" I half-yelled at him. 

"I was just trying to show that I know I'm not gonna lose to him. I'll beat you too." He said and I smirked. "Challenge accepted." I said. "Look, I believe you. Just try not to hurt him too badly, okay?" I asked nodded. "Okay then." He said and I gave him a glance, saying "I will win." and we got ready to go out to the field. 

"Let me hear ya scream as our students make their way to the main stage!" Present Mic yelled out and I chuckled a bit at his enthusiasm. "This first group are no strangers to the spotlight! You know them from withstanding a villain attack, the dazzling students lighting up your TVs with solid-gold skills! The hero course students of Class 1-A!" 

Mic yelled out and that was our cue to go, we walked out to the crowd cheering and screaming like crazy. "Man, I feel like Mic gave us a little too much of a introduction. Either way, it seems like everyone loves us." I said looking around. 

"They haven't been getting nearly as much screentime, but this next group is still chock-full of talent. Welcome hero course class 1-B!" Mic said and then introduced the other classes as well. "Now, the introductory speech!" Midnight said flashing her whip, I know Midnight, or Kayama-Sama, because she helped me and comforted me when she saw the scene of my parents being killed. 

She insisted on me living with her but I got to live with Izuku and Mom, Inko. She still manages to embarrass me whenever the public sees me with her since she checks on me a lot, I feel a lot of guilt for what happened and use my cheerful enthusiasm to cover it up. 

"Um, someone should talk to Ms. Midnight about what she's wearing." Kiri said and I can't lie, he isn't wrong. "Yeah, that costume should come with a warning." Denki said after followed by Tokoyami. "Is that really appropriate apparel for a high school game?" He said and I nodded.
