Camila's Pov

- Sheet after sheet, she was reviewing the patient's reports in critical condition. How could it get so bad in a couple of hours? It wasn't possible to perform any treatments on her anymore. Her lungs were in the way, she had brain hemorrhage, and her body wasn't responding to any of the treatments we put on her. 'Cristine Fawler' was the patient's name. Well, Cristine, now only you can fight for your life.

- I drank a sip of my coffee savoring it in my mouth, filling out some forms and winding my brain so that woman would be saved, but there was no way. I hated when I couldn't do anything about someone's life, I hated it when they just gave up without even trying to fight to stay alive. Her body rejected everything.

- "Dr. Cabello." I raised my head and it was one of the nurses. Blue-eyed blonde, quite adorable to tell you the truth. "You have to pay a visit to a patient of Dr. Parker's." I nodded at him. "Room 72."

- I got up and took off my glasses and put them on the front of my shirt, walking with the nurse all the way down the corridor of the hospital. While walking all I noticed were the faces of the people who had concern written all over their faces, some about to cry.

- When we arrived, the nurse gave me reports from Dr. Parker and opened the door, to let me enter the patient's room. She was a girl, a pale skinned brunette lying in bed.

- "Well... Let's see your name. I went through one of the pages and read. Lauren Michelle Jauregui Morgado." I raised my eyebrows because her first two names were beautiful. I kept reading a little more, "you've been in a coma for three weeks... What happened to you, honey?" I asked quietly, looking through Parker's report. Aha... Motorcycle accident. I winced because those things are pretty dangerous. In addition to being a doctor, I was also a pediatrician, so positivity and joy sometimes overwhelmed me. The room was dark, only lit with artificial light. We were in Los Angeles, and the sun prevailed here. I opened the window and the blinds, letting fresh air and sunlight in. "That's better, isn't it?" I sat on the bed staring at the girl.

- She wasn't a normal girl, she was... She was beautiful. She had a thin, straight, almost chiselled chin. Her nose wasn't completely straight, but that made it look natural. Her lips were dry, but you could see how fleshy they were when they were wet.

- I heard a few sighs from her lips, which was a good sign.

- "You like the feeling of fresh air, huh?" I smiled fondly, seeing the male nurse appear at the door again.

- "What do you think?" He asked pointing at the girl with his finger and I looked at her, tilting my head

- "Young girl, motorcycle accident, has anyone come to visit her?" I picked up the reports again with a frown, going over all the injuries Lauren had sustained.

- "Yes, her parents and siblings."

- "Have you informed the family about her sighs, groans, spasms in the fingers. Family members used to be alarmed when the patient in a coma did these things and would warn the nurses."

- "No, she hadn't made any sign of movement."

- "Are you sure?" I asked again, writing down some things in the report

- "Totally, I've been watching over her for three weeks." I nodded my head and I kept the folder in my hand

- Okay, so she had just started showing signs of movement since I arrived, I thought smiling happily, putting the pen in my pocket and heading for the door. "Let's go, you must rest. Tell Dr. Parker I'm taking care of this."
