After the others had long fallen asleep Alyson decided to get up. Frustrated at her lack of sleep she went to the edge of the woods that surrounded them making sure not to wake either animal sleeping by her.

After deciding that she hadn't woke anyone up she climbed up a tree on the edge of the clearing deciding to take watch.

She tightened her jacket around herself she still felt entirely too cold despite the many layers she had on her. She grabbed her bow and loaded some arrows in case any skinwalkers where hanging around.

Alyson felt her throat tighten as another wave of tears started forming. She wiped away her tears aggressively. She was so tired of crying. Crying didn't help it didn't make her feel better when she did. It just left her feeling hollow and angry.

She growled as tears kept coming down. At this rate tears were freezing to her cheeks and she was barely able to see anything. If she kept this up, she'd never see any of the Skinwalkers coming.

Then she felt the soft lure and warmth that always came when Iina showed up. Alyson tried her best to stop the flow of tears the crept down her face.

Iina shook her head and fully materialized.

"I'm sorry, Alyson. I know this is hard. But there are prices and limits to powers like yours. This is one of them," Iina says.

"One of them?" She asks her voice thin and angry.

"Yes, there are many difficulties of these powers. And before you ask no I cannot tell you what they are," Iina says silencing Alyson's words.

"can you tell me how many there are at least?"

"No because I don't know fully either," Iina says.

"How do you know so much about this?"

"Because I was once like you. Our powers of the mind are similar, but not the same. That's why I am able to speak to you like this. If you had any other power, I couldn't speak to you. Like your friend Julia. I wouldn't be able to speak to. Her powers are much too different. The same with your little friend Dylan," Iina said then her face blushed and turned away shaking her head.

"Dylan has powers?" Alyson asks.

"I shouldn't have said that," Iina said.

"Well you already spilled the beans."

"Spilled the beans?" Iina asked brows scrunched.

"Yeah, let the cat out of the bag, messed up," Alyson said suddenly feeling the age difference between the two of them.

"I can't tell you about someone else's powers without them knowing about the powers themselves. You'll come to know about them if you pay attention yourself," Iina said shaking her head vigorously.

"Okay, I dunno what you mean unless you're talking about his dream that was eerily similar to Elliot's dream. Because that was freaky," Alyson mussed to herself. Iina said nothing and not meeting Alyson's eye.

"So, they are related! I knew it! Just wait until I tell Luna Sarah about this! She'll be so surprised and thrilled!" Alyson cheered.

"NO! You cannot tell her about it! He must learn on his own. Right now, they only think it's nightmares, but he'll come forward about it eventually. Most likely to you or Julia since you two have powers similar to his. Until then, you cannot tell anyone about them," Iina said her dark brown eyes deadly serious.

"Okay, okay jeez. I swear I'll keep it a secret," Alyson says.

"Good, now keep your eyes out for Skinwalkers, keep them peeled and tear free," Iina said gently wiping away some of Alyson's frozen tears.
