Hhhhhh it's been a while 👁👄👁
That is all lol
Enjoy ☆〜(ゝ。∂)The next day, I woke up with some enthusiasm that I could push through the day with.
It was just after breakfast that Ochaco and I started discussing All Might's birthday. We were out the door when she started the conversation.
"I've decided to join the management team with Iida!" She beamed, giving me a thumbs up. "I figured my quirk could come in use for some of the jobs, but Iida seemed a little lonely managing everything so I thought I could help."
"I'm glad you're happy!" I patted her on her shoulder, returning her warm smile.
"What group are you helping out with?"
"The baking one, I thought I'd put my skills to practice."
🎂✨Bake them cakes, you know?✨🎂
After a while of chatter, the two of us arrived at school and before long we were strolling down the corridors, killing time before class started.
Everything was calm until we crossed paths with another group.
"H-hey!" I squeaked after bumping shoulders with someone leading a group. They were surprisingly aggressive and their stride was powerful.
I came eye to eye with a fiery set of orbs, staring at me with dominance.
(Dominance pftt-)
"Well why don't you watch where you're going, nerd?" Bakugo turned his whole body around towards me challengingly.
God did I regret it, but being the ambitious bean I am I stepped forward to accept his challenge.
He lunged forward, only to be held back my Kirishima behind him.
"Hey, hey! Fights like this aren't manly, especially with y/n! They're our friend, remember?" He reasoned, a sweat drop appearing on his forehead almost comically.
"BUT I'M NOT TAKING HER BULL-"
"KATSUKI BAKUGO!" Mina put her hand on his shoulder, hardening her grip on him.
She's establishing her dominance 😳
"I'm sorry camera roll, really. Uh- bye!" Sero was ushered away with the rest of the group.
"D-did he just-" Ochaco's eyes traced after the squad.
"Yeah. He called me Camera roll."
-
Not much happened all day, except for the constant thought on All Might's birthday. It was all I could talk about at lunch.
Eventually, the slow March of time came to an end and we were ready to head home.
I felt a small ice cube hit my shoulder when I was just about to go out the gates.
"Of course it's you," I teased as I faced Shoto who flung the ice cube at me.
"Did you forget?" He looked over to me, a slight flicker of amusement in his eyes.
"F-forget?"
"We planned a training practice today."
Oh shit.
"Oh man, I'm so so sorry! I've just- been thinking about All Might's birthday preparations all day and-"
Shoto silenced me with an even more amused look.
"Sorry, I ramble a lot..." a chuckle escaped my lips.
"We'll take this to my training place, but we have until 7pm."
"That's alright, dinner at my house would be ready around that time so I can leave nice and easy!"
-
A while later we had dropped our bags and got changed, then we started on my reflexes.
"Take that foot and kick it like that if you sense an attack coming from this side," Shoto was demonstrating around me, a serious expression on his face.
"Right," kicking my leg up, I repeated this move to try and match Shoto's timing of his arm.
He waved his arm in a certain direction, and I would kick to test my quick reflexes.
Eventually throughout the training session he would do it at the least expected times to train my reflex.
I was out of breath when we sat down to have a drink of water.
raising, the bottle to my lips, I stopped short when Shoto said, "sip it slowly. Don't chug it all down, you'll end up being sick."
I stared at him for a moment, then gave him a small warm smile in thanks.
A feeling of his eyes lingering on me stayed for a few seconds, before he turned away to sip his water quietly.
It was often like this. Quiet, but it was nice and blissful. You would've thought silence was awkward, but it was a bit like a silent agreement, or a chance for us to share a moment.
It was surprisingly nice. I never thought I would experience this type of friendship with someone, but now that I have I didn't take it for granted.
These little moments of silence Shoto and I shared was a thing between us, at least from my perspective.
Eventually Shoto mentioned All Might's birthday preparations, and we talked about that for a while.
The conversation flowed, almost as if we were tossing a ball and it went back and forth.
I liked this little game. It felt like one of those games you'd play as a kid, when you'd pass a ball to whoever you wanted and you shared your favorite color or something.
"Let's make a wager," I shuffled back, propping myself up against the wall.
"A wager you say?"
Propping my chin up, I continued. "Perhaps a wager on wether Midoriya will fanboy when he gives All Might his present?"
Shoto almost snorted, something that I never see him do.
Well that's a first 👀
"I think Midoriya will respectively keep his cool," He turned to face me.
"We'll make it a wager then?"
"Yes, although let's decide the prize after the whole thing."
Shoto and I got up, calling it a day.
When I walked out the door with my earphones in, I turned around to see a red and white head of hair still standing in the doorway, giving me a small wave.
Y'all dw next chapter will be the fo real preparations, and the one after that is All Might's b day 😌😌😌

Fanfiction❄️☁️ "You know, you can just call me Shoto. Everyone calls you y/n so it's only fair," He seemed to relax more. "Alright Shoto. Let's talk." Beaming, I twisted my body towards him. "About what?" "Just in general. Hey, what do you think of soba?" He...
