"Liam, I would rather be with you"
I was so nervous. What was going to happen next? How will he react?
Before I can continue my thoughts, Liam cups my face with his hands and brings his lips inches away from mine. His gaze shifts from my eyes to my lips, I do the same. My breathing starts to get heavier and I feel my heart jumping out of my chest.
In a deep husky voice, he whispers "I never thought you would say that" and claims his lips with mine. The touch of his lips, for the second time today, felt like a flower being bloomed. Something new arising which sent shivers down my spine. He gently bites my lip and we move in sync. I felt like I couldn't get enough of him, ever. One of his hands move down from my face and onto my thigh which slowly starts to move up... and up... anddddd
I gently push on his chest and pull away from the kiss
"We need to stop, before someone sees us" I whisper, bringing my eyes up to meet his
He pushes a few strands of hair away from my face
"I don't care what people think. I just care about you" and he claims my lips once again
I smile into the kiss and pull away
"It's not right Liam, to do this here..."
He lets out a breath and brushes his hand through his hair "You're right, besides we should go back in" He says
We both stand up and I realize my legs have fallen asleep which causes me to bump into him. We both let out a little laugh and I put my arms around his neck leaning in for another kiss. I give him a peck and we turn to see David... looking at us.

Liam looks down at me and I start to panic, I try to approach him
"David I-" but he interrupts me
"You want him? Be with him" he simply says and goes back into the gala
I grab his arm before he goes back in
"David stop. I love spending time with you but I just want to be clear that you're an amazing friend. And I don't want that to change or to lose you. Please understand that" I say
He takes a deep breath and looks me in the eyes
"Alex dear, of course. I love spending time with you as well. I just wish you would have clairafied everything first." he says
"I know, and I'm sorry. I hope we can still be friends" I say with my hand on his arm
"Of course, and just know, I'm always here for you" he says with a small smile and goes back into the party.
I let out a breath and turn to Liam
"Well, we should go in, the auction is about to start"
**** I must say, the auction turned out to be a pretty good success which I was really happy to hear! I'm just happy we would be able to donate well to the charity in Ace's memory.
