Adhira's POV

Darkness is everywhere. There is no ray of light. I'm scared, I'm alone, I'm suffocated , I'm struggling for breath. No one is with me. I'm wandering in the dark, looking for something, but I have nothing on my hands. I'm screaming for help but no one is listening me. Tears rolled down from my eyes making my vision blur.

" Help, please help me ", I shouted for help.

No response.

" Please, get me out of here ", I again screamed for help but still no response.

I am crying out for help. No one came. Suddenly a crackling sound came to my ears and my heart started pounding. That monster came back to finish me off, My legs began to turn back in fear.

The door opened,

A dazzling light peeked through the door, and a figure stood in the doorway. The light made it impossible to tell exactly who it was. The light is too much to take.

My throat went dry, my lips went dry, my forehead covered with sweat beads, my body started shivering.

The figure started taking predatory steps toward me.

I looked here and there for a way to escape but all avail. I couldn't find any escape. I'm stucked.

I hid my face in my palms.

I can here he is coming close to me. Too close.

" Adhira ", a strong familiar voice fall on my ears, chilling my spine.

I froze at my place.

He again called me.

" Adhira ",

He called me again,But I did not have the guts to look at him.He put my hands aside My eyes were closed with fear. He put his finger on my chin.

He called at me again, " Adhira, don't be scared , open your eyes ",

This time with courage I opened my eyes slowly.

I can see his face, he came to save me. Unknowingly my hand went to his cheek, he leaned his face feeling the warmth of my palm.

I was looking at him in disbelief. Is he for real ? I questioned myself.

" I'm in real ", I looked at him widened eyes. Can he hear my mind ?

" Come, you are safe with me. I won't let happen anything to you ", he kissed my forehead and stayed like that for a while. I felt his warm lips which giving me hope, I felt sincerity in his words. With that he hold my wrist and lead me to the light.

I opened my eyes and sudden light hit me. I blinked my eyes for sometime and adjust with surrounding. The first thing came to my eyes was his face, his innocent, handsome face. He is sleeping like a baby. The same face I saw in my dream.

Dream. In all this year this is the first time I had dream not a nightmare.

Why?
