niall hadn't gone
to school
for a whole week,
and harry's worries
grew more
and more.
until, on monday
he saw the
familiar face running
towards him
with open arms
as they broke into
a warm hug.

to niall,
it felt like
everything.
he felt secure,
and his worries disappeared
like the sunshine
on a winter evening,
like the gloominess as
soon as spring
comes by,
his pain was gone,
disappeared
when he was with
him.

harry took niall's
arm and
pulled him along
with him as the walked
to the school ground.
niall never really
went here,
since he'd always
be bullied by the students.
he hesitated when he
stepped his
foot on the ground but
harry's assuring look
made him think
something
else.

the ground was beautiful,
it was one place
the students would
hang around
until late evenings
when they were forced
to leave.
niall looked up to see
evergreen leaves
on trees and
slowly admired the
daffodils and
tulips blooming along
the sides,
as he heard the birds
chirp and dance
in the sky
creating a beautiful
atmosphere.
the sound of the bees buzzing,
and the squirrels
running from one side
to another,
the buttercups turning gold,
and the grass
cut short that the ground
could now be viewed,
truly,
it was astonishing.

"beautiful, isn't it?"
harry said when he saw
the blond with his mouth fully
open and eyes widened
with surprise.
niall replied with a short
nod and followed
harry to
the place he was
taking him to.

harry sat by a tree and
took out his
guitar and pick
and decided to play
a few chords
randomly.
niall sat facing him
with his
legs crossed and
admired the way harry's
hair would bounce considerately
as he strummed
the guitar with
his right hand.

harry closed his eyes
and laid
his head against the
tree as he thought
of a song and
decided to sing it for
the blue-eyed boy.

"i want to write you
a song
one that's beautiful
as you are sweet
with just a hint of pain
for the feeling
that I get when you are
gone
i want to write you
a song.

i want to lend you
my coat
one that's as soft
as your cheek
so when the world
is cold
you'll have a hiding place
you can go,
i want to lend you
my coat."
