The Friend Word

Fred's Pov

"So are you ready for the initiation?"

"Initiation?!" she asked in a confused tone as she arched her eyebrow.

"Yep" I answered casually as I took a brownie from her lunchbox and took a bite from it.

Delicious!

She gave me a more confused look, "What do you mean by initiation, I'm confused, I don't understand." she stated.

"You know, the friendship initiation."I explained to her, as if it was a real thing." Everytime you make a new friend, you're supposed to go through a friendship initiation so that we can stay friends otherwise this friendship would be prohibited and illegal."

She had a shock and frightening look on her face. Wow, she really believed this, I stiffled a chuckle.

" Really!! Wow that must be a really serious thing. "she exclaimed." Wait, but I don't remember doing any initiation before Belle and I became friends."

"You guys have been friends before you turned sixteen right?"

She nodded.

"Exactly. The friendship initiation can only be done if you're 16 and above."

"Ohhh, I see."She said as she nodded her head in realization. "So what should I wear for the initiation?, and should my parents be a part of it?, and when will we do it? It should be as soon possible because I don't want to get into trouble with any police officers for doing something illegal." she said in one breathe with curiosity in her eyes.

It was becoming too difficult to hide the laughter, I tried to cover my mouth with my hand to stop myself from erupting with laughter, but I just couldn't hold it. I erupted.

I laughed so hard, my eyes were watery. She's just so funny and gullible.

She had a puzzled look on her face as she looked at me laugh, before the look on her face turned into a frown, I'm sure she realized that I was playing a joke on her.

She folded her arms and turned her head to the side.

"What's wrong?" I asked as I started to quiet down.

"What's wrong?!" she repeated what I said. "I can't believe you joked with me like that and made me look stupid in front of you. You were making fun of the fact that I don't have many friends."she said with a frown.

"No. I was only using that to my entertainment." I said before I gave her a cheesy grin.

She had a bit of a sad look on her face then rolled her eyes before she put the book she was reading in front of her face so that I couldn't see her.

I slightly chuckled at how she rolled her eyes, but then realized that I may have hurt her feelings.

"I'm sorry." I said as I leaned on the table and used my hand to move the book from her face. But she just shook my hand off her book and put the book infront of her face again.

I retreated and sat back nicely.

"Oh common Amelia it was just a joke and I said I'm sorry. Please forgive me, I'm your friend."I said as I pouted and gave her my adorable sorry looking eyes.

She finally moved her book from her face and said," Okay it's fine, I forgive you."

I just smiled at her then ate the remaining brownie in my hand." So tell me,"I started." Have you thought about rejoining the dance class."

Her face immediately lit up." Yes I have. I've been practicing the way you taught me the whole weekend and I've also been doing some  stretches. I think I've become better now, so I'm definitely going to dance class today and I'm going to do my best."she had a huge smile on her face.
